  1. Know Zaine Kennedy back for Scunny and rode for Sheffield in 2018/19 but unsure what he’d come in on as finished 2022 with Championship average of 4.22
  2. Heard Gilkes been tapped up by Oxford for Premiership and Championship teams, there ain’t a lot out there on 3.26(ish) average
  3. Has Scott Nicholls had the operation on his shoulder he injured at end of last season yet? If not he’ll be up against it to be fit and ready for start of 2025 season.
  4. Cook definitely wasn’t the first name on Dickson’s list for the number 6 berth, again can’t see him lasting a full season as a Leicester rider.
  5. There’ll be no shocks and surprises, the remaining 6 will be what everyone already knows
  6. Haven’t looked back at all the thread to be honest, just came up in a conversation
  7. 1 Harris 2 Boughen 3 Thompson 4 Flint 5 Howarth 6 Hodder 7 Perry
  8. Masters 100% at Leicester and same with Schlein at Oxford.
  9. No Lindgren for Birmingham in 2025, Musielak and Zagar 100% at Birmingham as 1 and 5, with Rew coming in a la a new addition to the side. Heard last week that Schlein is back in Premiership but on his way to Oxford
  10. Have to look at Rowe’s 2024 average with a pinch of salt as all but two meetings he rode at number 7 as the Rising Star, whereas this season he’ll be at number 2 for at least the first two months and then reliant on either Gilkes or Flint upping their averages massively from 2024.
  11. You could say save at Sheffield with Holder bros, well below average when it mattered in second leg. At least with Fricke he rides with his team partner and not against like seen with with Holder when racing against Howarth and not protecting him, Fricke a helluva better team player than a lot of number ones
  12. Pickering had a good month in 2024 and that was it rest of year rode to his average of 6, he needs two point a meeting on that at least. Woffinden the main worry, if he’s not 100% come March/April we are basically carrying him, OK he might be 10/20 people through the gates but that’s not points to a team total.
  13. Musielak and Zagar 100% at Birmingham in 2025, alongside Rew. Schlein on his way to Oxford riding at 2/4
  14. Harris will only be at 6 until the first set of new green sheets are announced, no way that Klindt, Kvech or Iversen will pose as much as threat at number 6 as Harris does
  15. Still believe having 3 reserves in Rowe, Gilkes and Flint will bite us in the arse, sometimes at home but especially away. If top four don’t get 40+ points each meeting then can see more defeats than wins making top 4 a big challenge
  16. The Leicester 1-5 will be what just about everyone in here has said (Fricke, Howarth, Masters, Becker & Douglas) with RS position sorted as well. I believe that they have a few irons in the fire re the number 6 position, at least one ex Lion who hasn’t been on these shores for a few seasons is the preferred option for Dickson but might have to default back to likes of Cook if that deal goes belly up
  17. 1 Musielak 2 Lampart 3 Worrall 4 Rew 5 Zagar 6 Sedgmen 7 Edwards
  18. Testimonials used to be 10 years at one club (or more if contracts bought out by BSPA like Kyle Howarth’s), prior to 2024 Woffinden has not done a full season in UK since 2014, just a few meetings here and there at end of season when it’s suited him to earn a few extra quid, it of a joke this one really
  19. 2025 Aces will be same that ended the 2024 season, well the surnames will anyway, Zach for Ben the only change for Belle Vue.
  20. Be interesting to see if Ben Cook can take that next step as a Star in 2025, there’ll be more pressure on him in that side than there was at BV in 2024
  21. Harris is at Kings Lynn, end of. The Sheffield 7 for 2025 is as stated numerous times earlier in this thread. Top heavy 4 and 3 reserves basically
  22. Not seen anything about this Phil, but will defo result in plans B or C being used. Everyman and his dog knows the Plan A 7 (Holder, Woffinden, Holder, Pickering, Rowe, Gilkes & Flint), plan B they would need to get another 8 point rider from GP or another 8+ who has ridden here before (both easier said than done), You’d think plan C would be remove Gilkes, drop Rowe to number 6 and go for a more solid looking top order leaving a few points to play with come transfer window time that can’t include Howarth as he’s at Leicester, or Harris as he’s signed STARing elsewhere. Either way riders will know they are stuck so Bates’ cheque book will need dusting off
  23. Pretty sure that Rowe is owned by the BSPL as would have been a Swindon asset before their license put on ice, if that’s the case King’s Lynn have no first choice or anything with him for 2025 with him no longer a RS, so more likely a case of he’ll go where he wants to ride/offers him best contract. He’d make a good number 6 somewhere, just think he’ll struggle at number 2 where he’s expected to be in Sheffield line up
