I mean it clearly wasn't real and the clue was in the post.

Workington (47) v Plymouth (43)

God forbid we have a little laugh and a joke eh? -
Thanks for the clarity marra. My grandma was just about to set up a gofundme for comets. Also heard there were flying pigs spotted by the shore.

So I had a wander down to the track today to see the damage from the torrential rain we've been having. As you can see, the track is good enough for a swim but that's about it. So you plymouth fans can settle yourselves down. P.s. I definitely didn't google "flooded speedway track to shut up those muppets from Plymouth".
-
Harsh that mate. The NDL don't deserve that
-
Can't really call this racing. It's more like a nice game of follow the leader.
-
I usually like watching most speedway matches for most teams but Plymouth is a hard watch. The track is awful.

If it comes to it, and it's difficult to replace tate, which it's going to be, I would look at mixing the reserves up as well
-
I somehow don't think the Rew signing would go down well. I know it wasn't deliberate but he's taken out one of our best riders and a very likeable, entertaining one at that.
-
I completely agree but the same can be said about anyone, doesn't matter their nationality. Bickley didn't have the best mentality out there and to be the best you've got to have a top mentality.

Tbf, I watched SGP3 the other day and we had two british kids riding. Cooper Rushen looked good but the other kid, William, looked phenomenal.

Although he may have been rude this comment shows that you're a bit of a prat. Judging the whole of the comets fans off one person is just ridiculous -

So although we have weakened with Connor we've probably strengthened with ace. Be interesting because Oxfords Reserve pair are decent -
You know what's infuriating? When people forget about our other, younger reserve rider. Its not about just improving celina because she's a woman. It's about improving and helping reserve riders because they are young riders who could do with it.

Workington v Edinburgh 18/05/24 3pm championship

Let's not forget young Sam. Bth reserves have rightfully got a lot of stick recently but both were great today. Sam had pace and looked good -
What a god awful track. Feel sorry for anyone who made that their first time because it was an absolute snooze fest. No passing, and whoever gates is the winner. The old northside training track was better than that.

Redcar v Workington: (KO cup QF, 1st Leg); 26/4/24

Harry's time on the first was 58.x seconds. x being I can't remember but I did watch the first heat and had to dash. He was a superb rider a couple years ago then had a injury which seemed to knock him. He came to worky last season and just looked awful. I have an interest in the guy because it would be nice to see him back to his best. Although it's good to see him getting ahead, I'd like to see him when he hasn't gated well and is behind. At worky he always seemed to be at his best when out in front but when going into bends close to other riders or behind riders he'd pull out and never looked like passing. He did have a lot of bike troubles last season too and his brother once had to use his bike and he basically said it sounded like a bag of spanners. -

Can someone explain why Tate was excluded from the first race? Danny crashed first and was clearly the reason for stoppage and Tate came off also but probably would've got up and off the track. Seemed odd -

Did he look good when he was riding? I know he lacked some serious confidence last year and never looked like passing anyone and didn't look comfortable on the bends. -

Anyone got any info on the junior game after comets vs redcar? Seen Harry was riding and would like to see he done. I know he won the first. -

Coming from a cumbrian, why are you so hostile? I'm all for defending the team and all but you just seem a bit of a bellend at times. Everytime I'm in here or a different thread associated with Comets it's you arguing with someone about rubbish from several months ago. -

I have to disagree here mate. Redcar last week she was great. Every other race she's seen below average. Today she had one good race and the rest were awful. I'd like to think she'll come good but I'm not too sure.
