  1. We’ve never encountered one another, but you consider it appropriate to indirectly address me as “the idiot”. Not on. You can’t just walk around randomly insulting people, unprovoked. I’ve messaged you privately in a civil manner, just like I did @Noelinho who has hidden from accountability. If you have a problem, let’s discuss it at Ashfield on Tuesday. Otherwise, if you’re unwilling to resolve this, then I suggest we involve the forum’s administration team because this isn’t Harlem; you can’t just go around name-calling and bullying people. Why would being a member of MENSA mean someone is immune to criticism?
  2. That’s the correct decision, but it’s so harsh. What more could Huckenbeck have done?
  3. What an arena. What a roar for Zmarzlik’s introduction a moment ago. Buzzing for this.
  4. When I was a regular, team building couldn’t exceed a collective average of 45. Has that changed? If so, why? I’d assume lowering the average would somewhat lower quality.
  5. I’ll definitely need to up my game with you. Two correct in both topics.
  6. Ah, of course. The classic reverse. Big enough to cause genuine sporting debate to descend into “you pick fights, nobody likes you”, but utterly uninterested in being held accountable for it. I’ve messaged you.
  7. No, no, no. You‘re not running away from this now. “Just friendly advice” and “I’ll say nothing more”. I repeat; let’s address this. I’ll message you privately to save the forum from having to read it, but for those wondering what grudge @Noelinho has evidently had saved, given he’s just cast-up a two-weeks old discussion that didn’t involve him, this is how it went: @TheWellBehavedWorrall: “Brennan as captain should be doing better”, based on Glasgow own website. @tyretrax: “Brennan isn’t captain, so keep up” was his only condescending input. @TheWellBehavedWorrall: “What an obnoxious input”. @Jaizer’s input was then to direct us to the sixth paragraph and 500th word of a match report which mentioned Harris being captain. When I laughed and said he can’t be serious, I was told “wind your neck in”. Wow. Please note that I haven’t proactively engaged in any discussion with any of these strange, little men. They’ve sought my attention.
  8. My only criticism of BSN is the main commentators exaggerated hysteria around the finish line. “IS HE GOING TO HOLD ON?!” Well, yes, because he’s fifteen feet ahead of him, mate. I don’t know his name, but he’s actually an outstanding commentator; he has the voice for it, builds rapport with his co-commentator and he’s insightful, but I’ve noticed the finish line excitement a few times. What a problem to have, eh? Going from BSN on Wednesday to Eurosport on Thursday was like going from a lovely massage to setting fire to yourself, then jumping out a window.
  9. That was a really, really tough watch last night and an absolute shame that a club of Wolves’ stature exited British speedway under what I can only describe as ‘empty coverage’ by Eurosport: I appreciate that I’ve never raced a speedway bike at 60MPH with no brakes in the rain and 25% vision, but riders like Schlein and Douglas went through the motions last night. Considering that was a play-off semi-final, it’s a crying shame for those who paid to be there. Eurosport’s coverage returning from a commercial break, confirming what the final score was before actually informing viewers the meeting had been abandoned, but quickly moving onto “here’s what’s coming up on Eurosport” was also poor. Compared to BSN’s coverage of Redcar versus Glasgow, it as night and day.
  10. What’s me? Elaborate. I’ll be honest because feedback is important; for the most part, I thoroughly enjoy this forum, but I’m becoming slightly bored of genuine sporting debate descending into immature exchanges like this. I’ve raised valid, debatable points in here, but your enthusiasm was take the discussion towards “you pick fights, people don’t get on with you”. You quoted me, @Noelinho, so let’s not beat around the bush. Explain your agenda.
  11. I hope Josh Pickering is back on his feet pronto, but he’s so animated on the bike; almost on the verge of losing control like he’s riding a bull.
  12. How much was an early bird purchase for the Championship? Also, once purchased on an account, can it be live streamed on multiple devices at the same time? For example, could I watch a meeting and 50 miles away, could my dad also watch using my log-in?
  13. Buzzing for this. I heard Cami Brown saying Vissing was due to have his knee brace removed in the coming days, so I’d be amazed if he made another appearance this season. Glasgow won’t want to risk a partially fit second-string at such an important part of the season.
  14. Do you know what the most challenging part of this forum is? Grown men who are incapable of debating without subliminally seeking back-up, like suggesting you ”pick a fight with everyone”. Don’t quote me if you’re unwilling to engage in a debate.
  15. Wow. Never before has a point been missed so spectacularly. You’ve said the first two races may have been about set-up - “exactly what probably” is an incredible sentence, by the way - which is an assumption, so let’s use your logic from the other side of the fence; - If Charles Wright was riding, he’d probably have scored more than Justin Sedgmen’s zero. - If Sedgmen’s chain hadn’t snapped, he’d probably have scored more than zero. - If Connor Bailey hadn’t been wiped-out by Sedgmen, he’d probably have scored more than one point. Assuming those instances didn’t happen, Redcar took a 10-2 lead and Hume, Riss and Edwards beat Tarasenko, Basso and Harris? Last night’s a whole different story. My point isn’t that Glasgow didn’t deserve to win; it’s that they’ll have to be much better against Oxford because if I’m a Redcar fan, I’m looking at a missed opportunity last night because of bad luck.
  16. Between this bizarre attempt at denouncing my support of Glasgow and your “no wonder Leicester is up for sale with fans like you” comment to someone else, I’m not sure engaging in a sensible discussion with you is possible. Valid points have been raised here, but you’ve chose to respond with childishness.
  17. Relax, drama Queen. I’m a Tigers fan and even I see what @iainb is saying. Applauding the fans on the victory parade, yes, but standing on the track with fists raised like a boxer in front of the camera isn’t for me. Save that for celebrating trophies. It was equivalent to Real Madrid doing a lap of honour after beating a depleted Accrington Stanley. The scoreline flattered Glasgow; no doubt about that. You’d have been safe putting your mortgage on them winning last night, but they were 10-2 down after two heats to a depleted Redcar who were missing the CLRC winner, his guest replacement withdrew after one bend, having taken out his team mate who evidently felt the affects of the crash throughout the meeting, costing him when in point scoring positions. Edwards beat Basso, Riss beat Tarasenko and Hume beat Harris. Glasgow cannot afford not the be conscious of the manner in which they won. It should have been a case of applauding the fans, then up the road. Full focus on a big, big improvement against Oxford.
  18. Well done, Jack Smith. I was critical earlier, so it’s only fair I give credit where it’s due. A point in that race is outstanding. There’s no way Basso could have hung around to protect him.
