  1. Meeting ruined with the two injuries hope both recover quick
  2. Perfect speedway weather I hope ice cream van doesn’t run out
  3. Kurtz is one to talk about putting bike down lol! Was no room there had to go
  4. Enjoyed it so far been some good racing. Lampart and Pawlicki really attacking track. I think another superheat is coming
  5. Oxford should provide more of a test than KL did last week, Wright and Harris always on the pace at Owlerton. I imagine Janowski will enjoy riding a big fast track so expect him to push Jack and Tai. Craig Cook replacing injured Lewis Kerr is a good move I think he’ll score 6/7 points. score prediction 52-38 home win, Jack and Tai to be the difference
  6. 50-40 loss and no injuries would be a great result
  7. At a guess his machinery’s gone to pot and he’s probably not got connections or money to sort it out. Also explains why KL called Sheffield meeting off
  8. Sheffield gave them a good meeting few weeks back, both sets of riders going for it. Ipswich track is absolute crap in comparison!
  9. Stinks of we’re going to get stuffed so call it off and we’ll have better riders in team next time we meet
  10. mentally KL must be fearing the worst after getting battered Thursday, think they need to start well first 4 races or Sheffield will take the win with ease. I don’t think Gilkes/Edwards will out score the KL reserves which makes it an interesting match up. Going to try and get down for it Monday afternoon
  11. Will the KL riders want it grippy? Probably not either. Tigers class will shine through
  12. Really solid performance from us. Everyone looked on the pace, Howarth had abit of a mare in heat 8 but just glad he got up. Woffy and the Holder bro’s absolute class round our track which gives us a great chance of pulling them bonus points in through the season. Special mention for Dan Gilkes he’s had a tough start to season and after heat 2 I feared the worse but he obviously made a change to setup and looked great in his other 3 rides. Tobi 100% effort as always looked the only rider in the KL team who was going to lay a glove on our heat leaders. Might have been closer with Basso and Iverson hopefully they’re back soon to fitness
  13. Zach Cook would be a decent option for KL goes well round Owlerton
  14. Very excited for this one and the weather looks ok for this week (about time). Tigers desperate for a home meeting after 4 away meetings in which we have performed well in my view. obviously the biggest headline is Musielak returning to Owlerton with abit of a point to prove. We loved watching Toby every week and I’m sure the races with him against Woffy, the Holder bro’s and Pickering will be unreal. Iversen and Taresenko could provide some decent backup but I predict the Sheffield top 5 will be too much for KL if the track is right. 52-38 my prediction
  15. Off night for Woffy and still come good which is very positive. close meeting wouldn’t have wanted to call it at the interval. good to see the Holder bro’s get the 5-1 in heat 15 they’ve had a bit of stick so far but solid tonight. Dan Gilkes big concern for me he hasn’t shown any confidence at all so far. Maybe we just need a couple of home meetings to find some consistency. Leicester may make a change but it’s early days. All 7 riders can do it on the night give them some time
  16. Hard to predict as we won away at Leicester and also got beat convincingly last year.. reserves could decide it. Going for a 48-42 home win Woffy to top score
  17. Very poor result for brum after last weeks positive meetings. Pawlicki needs to hit the ground running
  18. They’ve had 3 away meetings and been more than competitive. With a team that is arguably the best on home shale. I can’t see 4 teams bettering them over the season
  19. Unfortunately reserves cost us big time today, Heat leaders on both teams all on the pace and mixing it with some good racing. Dan Gilkes looks way off the pace not sure if he’s lost all his confidence with last years injury, Edwards done ok so far mixing it and picking up a few points. See how they go at home. Thought Woffy was standout rider again could he top the averages this year? Bewley, Kurtz and J Holder didn’t score great but all looked fast and provided some action. 8 point deficit isn’t a disaster in all honesty. I think it will be close on aggregate
  20. Another dreadful week of rain including today.. can’t see any speedway happening. A great match up this year BV and Sheffield. Think both at NSS and Owlerton scores will be close as they usually are
  21. Me and the Mrs will be driving over from Sheffield for this. Should be a good meeting looking forward to seeing how Howarth performs as a no1 and a few riders in the Worky team which are abit unknown, think Craig Cook can really make a good year of it and rebuild his career, got it in him to be best rider in championship.
  22. And it’s off… best decision to call it early
  23. SHEFFIELD: Jack Holder, Kyle Howarth, Chris Holder, Josh Pickering, Tai Woffinden, Jason Edwards, Dan Gilkes. OXFORD: Maciej Janowski, Charles Wright, Nicolai Klindt, Chris Harris, Rohan Tungate, Lewis Kerr, Ashton Boughen. weather forecast is grim unfortunately for today so unlikely they will even get a lap in.. if weather does clear up.. I can see a 14 point home win for the tigers. Chris Holder will be keen to put a big score in, and I think Dan Gilkes needs to get out and win a race or two for some confidence. Oxford got a team that could do very well round Owlerton, their success depends on which Lewis Kerr shows up as he can look like a heat leader some meetings then disappear the next.
