Sheffield Tigers 2025
Manifesto replied to InTheDeepStuff's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Can’t be much worse than Kerr and Sedgmen. Both were well under par especially at home. Thought Kerr would have been solid for us but not been the case. Etheridge can ride Owlerton better than Sedgmen and Morris is a risk but worth taking if we are going to find some form going into the playoffs -

Thursday nights are made for speedway -
The only positive I can take from that is that the ice cream was nice and it was only the cup.. or is that clutching at straws? Jack Holder and Sedgmen apart the rest were woeful. Big improvements needed, every time has a dip this seems to be ours. Pickering couldn’t gate what so ever, Rowe wasn’t much better. Kerr as per round Owlerton struggling for speed. Leicester riders attacked the track and looked comfy. Howarth as expected rode well, Fricke looked very good was a great ride to beat Holder in heat 15 he held his line well and deserved the win. Good luck in the final 🦁

Found it an entertaining meeting to watch the scoreline helped but was some close races I’ve seen way worse meetings at Ipswich, Leicester on BSN. Picko as per bringing plenty of excitement. Feel for Oxford thought they gave it a real go, Kildemand at reserve is useful and Tungate and Riss rode well. Janowski is defo trying but just not making the gate. Jack Holder very good finish to the meeting showed his class in heat 15 and super heat to hang about for Picko. Kerr had an absolute mare in heat 9 getting passed on last bend. Rowe and Flint deserve huge credit they have been solid all season can see their confidence growing every meeting -
OXFORD: Maciej Janowski, Craig Cook, Erik Riss, Rohan Tungate, Charles Wright, Peter Kildemand, Luke Killeen. SHEFFIELD: Jack Holder, Anders Rowe, Josh Pickering, Justin Sedgmen, Chris Holder, Lewi Kerr, Leon Flint I think this one will be another tight scoreline, not expecting Lewi Kerr to score 16 again from reserve so Sheffield need a solid meeting from everyone. Oxford have been poor this season but just got a feeling they will find another gear tonight they’re due a good home performance at some point. 48-42 home win

Surprised to see Picko not at number 5 but I think Steady has more confidence in the reserves than he does Sedgmen atm so it protects him the most. Chris Holder has taken a dip in form last couple of weeks but BV and Ipswich were a step up in opposition for the team so for me he is the key man for Sheffield tomorrow if we are to pick up a win

Sad news for Doyle and Ipswich if true. Sickener to lose yet another world class rider for the season. Speedway recovery Jason

Another very sad day for British speedway. Doesn’t feel like it will be long until this happens to my club too. Heartbreaking for the loyal brummies fans

Sheffield v Ipswich Thursday 15th May
Manifesto replied to Arch Stanton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
The track needed some water on it after heat 8 onwards very dusty indeed. But still, some fantastic racing tonight especially ones involving Jack Holder. Heat 15 was an epic pass on Doyley who shook hands with both Picko and Jack at the end of the race which was all good to see. two good teams going at it, much rather see a close meeting than a 60-30 drubbing. a couple of falls and a couple of engine failures added to the drama. Both will comfortably make the play offs, but Ipswich will definitely be the team to beat due to how good they are round foxhall. -

Always a tough one when Ipswich come to town. It should be an entertaining meeting both teams reserves have been scoring well, Adam Ellis has never come back to haunt us at Owlerton maybe this could be the meeting? Both teams have so many in form riders hard one to predict. I think if Chris Holder finds his usual setup that will see us through for a 6 point home win -
correct, if it makes more money for the club of course they will keep doing it. The tracks the same for both teams the aces riders shouldn’t use the start time as an excuse

👀👀👀😂😂😂 Brady Kurtz saved by heat 13 would of loved to see four 0’s on that race card
