  1. Well done to Ipswich 100% deserved the win on the night. All 7 riders putting points in the board. Sheffield promotion have a lot to think about, got a great top 3. Pickering riding well and the bigger scores will come. Kyle Howarth absolutely woeful and been perfectly honest he was crap majority of last season they stuck with him due to pure loyalty, I’d be looking at Craig Cook or Lewis Kerr to replace him when Oxford decide which one they’re having. As for the reserves, Dan Gilkes seems to have lost all confidence he’s easily bullied on track. I like Jason Edwards and think he will come good second half of season
  2. 48-42 away win think the tigers heat leaders will be too much for the stars
  3. Not hot we’ll do well to score 30 I reckon at Foxhall
  4. If this wasn’t on box they would get warm up laps in and crack on with it. Possible rain due after 9pm gulp! if it stays dry and 15 heats are raced my prediction is 50-40 home win. Be a good one between Holder and Doyle after the very harsh move in the semi final of the gp. Jack will be out for abit of revenge. if Ipswich reserves turn up it could be very close as Thursday Gilkes and Edwards were well of the pace. Want to see them attack the track more and get out the gates sharper. Kyle Howarth has been average if not poor so far he needs a score tonight
  5. Yes it was pre booked originally there was no meeting planned for last nights date
  6. The racing was far better against Oxford but that’s how it goes some weeks, our reserves and Howarth dreadful were never looking likely to pass any BV riders and Lidsey, Cook, Kurtz and Bewley never going to pass Woffy or Holder
  7. Out of the home meetings so far it was defo the most dull as in passing wise but closest as a contest. Blodorn, Mountain and Bailey were so much better than Gilkes, Edwards and Howarth (heat 8 was embarrassing to watch) which meant BV could easily pack the 2nd and 3rd places. Always thought Tai and Jack could bang 5-1’s in heat 13 and 15 to keep it close and it was very close. Jack Holder rode a brilliant line in the super heat first lap which sealed the deal for the tigers. Onto the semi final I don’t think KL will be as much of a challenge with all due respect!
  8. Hancock?! Nilsson, Wolbert, Rene Bach someone like that more likely
  9. Gate 3 hasn’t been terrible surprisingly first couple of meetings but could soon change. Kurtz and Lidsey go well at owlerton and Bewley could score 13 or 3 so he needs a good showing to keep it close i reckon. I hope Pickering misses gate a couple of times again as he was brilliant to watch last week 4 points didn’t do him justice. prediction 52-38 home win
  10. Heat 3 he didn’t do a lot wrong Pickering rode a great line to pass him on last bend. He was on the pace but you let Woffy, Chris or Jack in front round Sheffield it’s very rare someone passes them
  11. Great nights entertainment at owlerton once more. Obvious star performer Craig Cook absolute world class gating all night was always the first one heading down the back straight whichever race he was in, Chris Holder only tiger to beat him with a very well worked pass on the last bend, he really was flying out the gate and riding the right lines. Woffy and the Holder bros kept us always looking likely to the win the meeting but I thought it was competitive throughout. Riss and Pickering deserved more points for their efforts, Pickering with some great passes on Janowski and Tungate. be very interesting to see what Oxford do with their team when Kerr is back fit
  12. Meeting ruined with the two injuries hope both recover quick
  13. Perfect speedway weather I hope ice cream van doesn’t run out
  14. Kurtz is one to talk about putting bike down lol! Was no room there had to go
  15. Enjoyed it so far been some good racing. Lampart and Pawlicki really attacking track. I think another superheat is coming
  16. Oxford should provide more of a test than KL did last week, Wright and Harris always on the pace at Owlerton. I imagine Janowski will enjoy riding a big fast track so expect him to push Jack and Tai. Craig Cook replacing injured Lewis Kerr is a good move I think he’ll score 6/7 points. score prediction 52-38 home win, Jack and Tai to be the difference
  17. 50-40 loss and no injuries would be a great result
  18. At a guess his machinery’s gone to pot and he’s probably not got connections or money to sort it out. Also explains why KL called Sheffield meeting off
  19. Sheffield gave them a good meeting few weeks back, both sets of riders going for it. Ipswich track is absolute crap in comparison!
  20. Stinks of we’re going to get stuffed so call it off and we’ll have better riders in team next time we meet
  21. mentally KL must be fearing the worst after getting battered Thursday, think they need to start well first 4 races or Sheffield will take the win with ease. I don’t think Gilkes/Edwards will out score the KL reserves which makes it an interesting match up. Going to try and get down for it Monday afternoon
  22. Will the KL riders want it grippy? Probably not either. Tigers class will shine through
  23. Really solid performance from us. Everyone looked on the pace, Howarth had abit of a mare in heat 8 but just glad he got up. Woffy and the Holder bro’s absolute class round our track which gives us a great chance of pulling them bonus points in through the season. Special mention for Dan Gilkes he’s had a tough start to season and after heat 2 I feared the worse but he obviously made a change to setup and looked great in his other 3 rides. Tobi 100% effort as always looked the only rider in the KL team who was going to lay a glove on our heat leaders. Might have been closer with Basso and Iverson hopefully they’re back soon to fitness
