  1. We have also missed Tai, he was our best rider away from home all season. Pickering has now hit his top form and I would have fancied us against Ipswich with Doyle and Emil over 2 legs with him in the team. All hindsight though we had the same last year losing Tai and Toby just before the play offs
  2. Did feel like a bit of hollow victory, Jack and Picko unreal very fast tonight would have loved to see Sayfutdinov have a go with them both. The effort was there from all Ipswich riders but getting race wins was just so hard to come by. Fighting for second and third place against our reserves and an absolute woeful Kyle Howarth was best they could do. We’d have to ride pretty awful to lose by 20+ on Thursday just want to see some good racing more than anything and see Ipswich fight for some pride because they deserve to end their season with fight.
  3. Ellis and Brennan will be hard to beat if they gate but would expect Jack and Chris to only drop a couple of points if the track is good
  4. Hope we can fit him in for the 2025 plans he was probably our most consistent rider before his injury
  5. You can’t judge a rider on one meeting that’s why we have averages 🫠
  6. Lidsey and Brennan have had some good meetings at Owlerton and also some stinkers could be the key riders. Horrible to be relying on that many guests but I’m guessing Ipswich fans just want to see it close. Ellis 15 point max incoming? lol 52-38
  7. Great effort from Jack once more. Howarth and reserves cost us in the end as most would have predicted. Hope they step it up for the play offs!
  8. KING’S LYNN: Jan Kvech, Benjamin Basso R/R, Ben Cook, Connor Mountain, Niels-Kristian Iversen, Lewis Kerr, Anders Rowe. SHEFFIELD: Jack Holder, Kyle Howarth, Chris Holder, Josh Pickering, Tai Woffinden R/R, Jason Edwards, Joe Thompson. Looking at the lineups you’d fancy the KL reserves to score well I think if they score 10+ between them the stars will win comfortably. Picko had an absolute mare last time we visited can’t see him doing that in current form. The bonus point could be enough for Sheff to finish top so I’d be happy with us just keeping it close and coming back with no injuries ready to go into the cup final/play offs. 48-42 home win
  9. Bizarre isn’t it. You can only beat what’s in front of you and until heat 9 there was very little fight in the BV team. The result was already cemented long before then and not very exciting for a neutral I'm sure
  10. Always choose to see a full team out. Would have been a great match up with Doyle, Emil and Tai all riding
  11. 50-40 home wins both legs, Sheffield to win superheat with the Holder bro’s
  12. After all the pile on over the Sheffield track are we going to discuss the joke that was served up last night? Or is Sheffield only track that’s allowed to be deemed dangerous? Both home and away riders couldn’t turn bike, riders falling through bends. Nicholls almost embarrassed to have to explain what was happening with the track on Eurosport
  13. That was a perfect start from Jack whether he guessed it or not. Holder boys running riot
  14. Track is naff as it usually is most meetings we visit. Edwards useless as per, Harrison not going to finish a race and Howarth isn’t interested. I’ll stick footy on
  15. All slagging about dirt been allowed to build up on outside at owlerton and they serve this up
  16. This track is an absolute disgrace both sets of riders can hardly turn bikes 😆
  17. we won at Foxhall 2022 season with Howarth top scoring.. need a similar performance Monday
  18. Sheffield Leicester Ipswich BV I wouldn’t want to face Leicester right now out of the 3
  19. Some great racing last night even though the result was never in doubt for Sheffield after heat 4. The track was great and the riders could pass inside and out which gave Pickering in particular more to go at than last week. Good to see the reserves score some Dan Gilkes looks very smooth at times, I’m not sure Edwards feel as comfy still he doesn’t seem to like going out towards the fence. Fast Freddy showed his class in the second half of the meeting looked very quick. Thought Lampart did well and could see the 100% effort from him could be a bargain on his average next season. Cook and Brennan disappointing they normally go well round Owlerton. Top 4 very tight not sure who we will get in the play off semis
  20. The straights are narrow at Owlerton but the bends are not wider.. remember at Sheffield they’re going faster and can really throw the bike into the bends
  21. I know it’s not I was just referring to the Ipswich fans jumping on the emil crash last week blaming the track shape/dirt on the outside before hearing the facts.
  22. That’s what they do.. Ellis injured last night due to Ipswich been a tight little narrow track or was it an unfortunate racing incident? Depends if you want to look at facts or just slag off riders you dislike and blame the track/club
  23. 52-38 home win.. Brennan and Lindgren go well round sheff and think Zach Cook will win a couple. Be interesting to see how the track is after criticism last week
