  1. How have people turned this into a we hate Jack Holder instead of best wishes to Emil type of thread.. Typical Ipswich fans slagging the track off and riders, Foxhall is an absolute joke of a track as we’ve seen many times over the years the absolute cheek to slag Owlerton off is incredible. Jack and Emil threw bikes into that last bend after a fantastic race knowing the result was on the line and unfortunately Emil lost control of the bike, this is speedway and I have seen many crashes at different tracks in different countries. I wish him well and hope he is back on a bike asap. Great effort from the Witches team and deserved the win, our riders couldn’t get out the gate especially Picko and Chris. The reserves let’s be honest we’re pathetic apart from one race Dan Gilkes actually had a go. Edwards might as well of not bothered doesn’t attack the track what’s so ever, Jenkins had much less track experience round Owlerton and showed them both how to get round. They will cost us big time in the play offs and cup final. We desperately need Pickering to up his form and not sure how we go about replacing Tai
  2. Expected a close meeting before and Leicester were really up for it. Thought Jack Holder was unlucky to get pulled up for jumping start in heat 10 looked like a good gate from where I was stood on bend 4. Picko and Howarth very inconsistent as they have been most of season, reserves poor in all honesty Edwards should of held on for 3rd in heat 14 just don’t look like passing ever but seem to get passed with ease. Will be our Achilles heel come the play offs
  3. Shocking performance from Picko and he’d be first to admit it, thought he’d be scoring 10+ at his old track. Reserves poor as expected and a rare off night from Jack. Happy to get the bonus point and scarper without any injuries. We miss Woffy badly as he brought that balance to team allowing Chris to ride at 3. Well done KL on a solid performance I like Kvech, NKI and Lawson all fair riders. would like to see Anders Rowe in the Sheffield team next year
  4. Woffy has said he will try and be back for Cardiff so will be using R/R and guests for next couple of weeks at least until it’s certain if he can overcome his injury. the BV fixture is to be scheduled still I believe
  5. Expecting a better showing than last time we visited. My choice of guest for Woffy would be Fricke or Janowski. Think our reserves will struggle so I’m going for a 48-42 home win
  6. Really good effort from Oxford. Janowski looked so much better than he did last time he visited. Harris was very fast and that bends 3 and 4 in heat 13 was world class to squeeze past Jack Holder next to air fence. Tungate struggling with his bike all night cost them the bonus point. Howarth all over place once again another poor showing, you’d think he’d never seen track before way he shapes up going into bends. Heat leaders saw us through second half of the meeting. We need Tai back for the play offs but I fear his season is finished
  7. really need Kyle and Picko to score some to ensure a comfy enough win, Kyle in particular last week was very sloppy on track. Really hope Dan and Jason can keep up the good form they both are heading in the right direction. Tungate, Harris and Janowski could all score big and Wright and Riss enjoy riding Owlerton. Let’s hope for some good racing. Prediction 49-41 home win just sneaking the bonus point in
  8. Much needed win for us. Edwards and Gilkes have been really mixing it every meeting now which is key for us in the play offs, if Pickering and Howarth show up on the same night we are unbeatable. same old story for Birmingham unfortunately not all 7 riders putting the needed points down for a win. Leon Flint should be beating Gilkes and Edwards on his own track he seems to be going backwards after a good start to the season. the track was shocking compared to earlier in the season the outside line just wasn’t there which resulted in poor racing
  9. Heat 13 unreal race, and Pickos pass in heat 15 was top draw. soon as Basso crashed out was only going to be a hammering. Kvech and NKI did KL proud last night held it together for the team
  10. Think even before injury he knew his gp days were done. Possible retirement from international speedway?
  11. Jack and Tai scored 17+1 between them on the last visit I’m not sure we can make those numbers up tonight. Expecting 4 from Batchelor and a 12 point loss
  12. Lewis Kerr 18 point max incoming with Woffy and Jack we win this.. without them 16 point loss sad to say
  13. An absolute sickener seeing Woffy have that fall. He has arguably been our best rider this year and cannot be replaced for what he brings to the team. I hope the injuries are not too serious
  14. Would have defo been a close one on aggregate but would of fancied Sheffield still
  15. A very easy win for Sheffield in the end. Not much fight in the patched up KL side except from a fantastic Anders Rowe, heat 4 he did everything right to keep Woffy behind him. Kvech showed some class and looked better each race. NKI tried but couldn’t lay a glove on the tigers heatleaders. The guests cost them the final in the end all 3 were very poor. Jack Holder on another level tonight, Woffy and Chris almost on that level. Great to see Kyle back to his old self, really come good last few weeks. not sure why Pickering was so angry with Gilkes in heat 14, he’d been struggling for speed all night just needs to put it behind him and move on to the next
  16. Lawson and Zach Cook.. decent guests to be fair. But not as good as Klindt and Tobi who would probably be worth 20 points between them
  17. Sheffield to win by 14.. Jack and Woffy 5-1’s in 13 and 15 to bring the house down
  18. Some great racing. Fricke and Bewley absolutely flying worth the watch. Yes the crowd looked poor which was a surprise with the weather. BV need to keep that kind of form up if they’re going to challenge the top 2
  19. Tigers way too good for BV tonight. Bewley been class in both meetings at Owlerton this year
  20. 50-40 home win.. Harris is generally better than Kurtz round Owlerton. Think Chris Holder and Pickering will be the difference. Going round Hillsborough before to watch the footy.. might be abit sozzled so if anyone sees me staggering about on bend 4 in a gazza shirt come say hi
  21. Ipswich fans won’t know how to handle tai throwing them a compliment
  22. I could tell tales of arguments at speedway but 99% of fans are just genuine speedway fans. As for the bend 2 barmy army (about 6 people) they popped up after Covid I don’t think they’ve been going for long. The rivalry between Ipswich and Sheffield is down to both having strong teams and last years final was mostly respectful
  23. I think karmas caught up with him.. he’s only had a couple of poor ish meetings so far, he’s in top 3 averages in league I do believe?
