  1. Something gives me the feeling that we won't be getting near 45 points at NSS again if we return for the play offs, and then it will all rely on Foxhall and depending on the difference, it could be a chaotic meeting.
  2. Are you actually reading the whole point of my posts or just choosing to ignore it? I don't care if you like or dislike Ukraine, everyone has a choice. The point is this... Ukraine don't get blocked from speedway but Russia does, but both are equally involved in the politics. Me personally, I believe Russia and Ukraine riders should be in any sport... because politics doesn't have a place in sport, IMO. If it did, then surely Bewley and Lambert should be out of the GP as God knows we love to stick our noses into every 'war' along with USA that goes.
  3. Anders Thomsen has officially signed his new contract for Stal Gorzów 2026. The announcement will take place after the play down match on 31st August, Stal have also dropped the match ticket for the play down to the lowest cost from any Ekstraliga liga 2025 match at 40złoty = £8. Anders contract doesn’t have a relegation clause unlike the one J.Holder has signed. The contract is worth roughly 1 million zloty and 10,000 per point, this is less than this season. Anders wanted more but other clubs were not interested in him when he offered his services so Stal took this as an opportunity to negotiate lower although with their original short list failing of Pawlicki and Drabik they needed to secure someone and Anders has vastly improved this season.
  4. Remember if you want to watch this one live it’s on LionsTV - sign in and the cost is £12.99
  5. You read all of that and your only take from it was the two houses 🤦🏼 the point is Ukraine people and their government are just as bad as Russia… yet they get a free pass into speedway with no issue. Poland is the Meca of speedway let’s be honest and Polish people hate Ukrainians… why does the rest of the world not see how they really are?
  6. I mean the amount of time people keep bringing the issue of it being russia but nobody dares to speak of the issues that Ukraine bring is laughable. Media loves to make everything about Russia but if you actually see the drama Ukraine have brought and more shockingly how disgusting their people treat Poland as a country when they were given free housing, food, cars etc but still attack Polish people, attack Polish traditional, break Polish transport and hold signs at concerts saying “death to poles” but nobody moans when Ukraine are allowed into the speedway World Cup? Media agenda and targeting is a joke, politics in sport and as a whole is a joke, English people moan about these migrates but still think Ukraine is treated unfair. Nobody has been shown on English TV the city that is ‘war stricken’ in Ukraine but has now rebuild a brand new super night club with the funding from European money? Google Ibiza club Ukraine and see how fearful they really are this club was on its last legs but then had money from the war poured into it and renovated, it’s all on Polish news but you don’t see any of it in England, and be reminded that their president has bought two houses, one in Caribbean and one in Europe with your tax money.
  7. I’ve heard they are going to chose each riders designated teams by rock, scissors, paper!
  8. Ipswich facing Leicester on the first return of Becker is an advantage id say, lions have used RR so brilliantly recently and Becker won’t be full race pace on British soil just yet, this could be the factor we need to win!
  9. Just to clarify it was a very well attended meeting, for anyone who didn’t attend and just guessing.
  10. Deffo not your mistake! BSN isn’t TV full stop! Live streaming isn’t live TV. Although you can get google on smart TVs and then log on to it and watch it through your TV 😂 technology hey!
  11. I would agree that not much passing happened last night or even the meeting before because the track has rode differently recently, but before that, you can't blame the track. When Ipswich have been behind we find away around the outside or inside to get past. It's no fluke that we win buy a good margin at home often, it's also not our fault other teams can't ride our track and make a spectacle of the meeting. We came to Belle Vue and took it to your riders, half the other clubs haven't done that at NSS. Maybe just understand we have a well rounded team who are dialled in at Foxhall and can race other tracks as well, it's not just about being dialled in at home, as you've found out twice this season already. Last night was about 3k crowd. When you think the whole stadium max is about 10k + then it was for sure about a third full.
  12. I think when you consider he knows a lot of the Grand Prix riders and tracks a lot he can see the good and bad of speedway and what not to do, he used to ride in Poland so understands their model, and he also runs the club very well… I haven’t really heard of many if any riders moaning about the club and how it’s run, it’s much the other way round and people really want to ride for the club and to be chosen. I think the fact the crowd is always good and probably the best attended in Britain it brings riders too. Ipswich has always been a town passionate for football and speedway and backs them very good… like Louis said, when the football team prospers so does the speedway.
  13. On a different note Doyle got me concerned in his first two outings, I thought his seasons of dramas were catching up to him. Then he wins his next load of races! I do wonder if he was entirely happy with how hard Ellis was riding him in heat 15, couple times he almost had him off! Although Doyle done well to win the race with a punctured rear tyre! 😂
  14. To be honest I don’t go to watch rider mistakes either, can you tell Tate not to ride straight into our air fence next time on his own accord.
  15. I genuinely believe Ipswich is more of a community and the surrounding area backs its team, same with football ATM. Manchester is just another overloaded city with probably more to do but also not as dedicated to its local club, obviously some die hards but I mean when you look at population Manchester should be able to draw massive crowds. This isn’t a dig at anyone from Manchester by the way! I’m sure you’ll come back with “because you have nothing to do apart from farm” 😂😂😂
  16. Last May bank holiday 😆 this crowd tonight reminded me of the Manchester Grand Prix, both had temp stands and both got a few thousand 😂 only Bewley didn’t win this one tonight 😅
  17. Imagine getting bigger crowds at our old Foxhall stadium with ‘poor racing’ and Belle Vue getting small crowd but having the most amazing track… best in the world in fact! Maybe some people from Manchester should visit it sometime 😉 😂
  18. Big crowd for sure and weather helped… but kings Lynn was the biggest gate this year on the bank holiday, tonight being a Thursday was a very healthy gate!
  19. If we take all three points they could go 7 points clear, depending on Sheffield away performance at Oxford. It’ll leave Leicester with a match to play but 7 points with only 4 matches remaining and beating in mind we have Leicester and Sheffield home and away it would put us in a strong position to finish top surely. Also to add Belle Vue will only have 3 meetings left and one leg has already been a loss to Sheffield so if we win today with all three Belle Vue cannot catch us, until the semis or final at least 😂
  20. 100% won’t be anything else but 1st vs 4th and 2nd vs 3rd. Phil Morris knows it was a poor decision and said it wouldn’t happen again. What is interesting is the fact nobody really knows where each other will finish, and all face each other still. My money is on a late charge from Birmingham and they take it all 😁
  21. My comment about probably throwing it away was focused on this years Cup semi final against Lynn, not the previous years.
  22. People talking as if Leicester are the team to beat, they lost the first round to Ipswich and in round 2 of fixtures they are 18 points down so I’m confident we can do a job on them in play offs, Leicester needed Brennan to win the trophy as he rode so well for them but it just shows he can ride their track very well. It’s ours to lose, but this is us so we probably will throw it away!
  23. Lidsey and Picko i remember how one race they were riding each other super hard inside outside and eventually Picko got it but at one point I thought they were coming off ! Good to watch though!
  24. Last night was point and case of that! Nobody wanted to attack the air fence from Belle Vue, Holder alluded to the fact he doesn’t like heat 13 when he had stiff competition and has to ride as wide as possible. Can I just add I personally think Bewley is the most likeable Brit we have, he is very down to earth and just feels like a guy who wants to get on his bike and push the limits, I think he has more about him than Kurtz who does give up more than Bewley or opts to not get involved, people give him a pass because of fighting for the world title but for me, Bewley gives more to Belle Vue and British Speedway. When Doyle hangs up his Kevlars I’d love to see Bewley down here (I know it won’t happen).
