  1. He never mentioned anything about not racing this morning when I spoke to him so all should be ok for this week although probably very sore!
  2. As harsh as this sounds, you chose the wrong event if you wanted an atmosphere, I think people need to realise what events to go to and not to go to in Poland. League matches (especially derbies) should be on a bucket list, next, any SGP event in Poland (worst is Warsaw, you want a club based one) and then next would be the Polish individual / SWC, last on the list would have been SoN. Im glad you enjoyed your weekend though and it didn’t ruin it, it’s a lovely country with nice people and great food 👌🏻I hope you do decide to go back and maybe visit a better event!
  3. 11 years ago stal won the title with the likes of Zmarzlik, Iversen,Kasprzak, Zagar… the young boy below celebrating below with his Dad, which I have circled, is a small Oskar Paluch at 8 years old! Last night he was the superstar who saved his dad’s boyhood club. Amazing story!
  4. Well after Łaguta’s comment it most certainly isn’t him or Emil once again, we all knew it but that’s just solidified it!
  5. For anyone interested MM has given his first interview after Denmarks run in SoN, safe to say he wasn’t happy: "I'd rather not comment on that. looked like a fu****g clown or an idiot. I think that if the plan from the start was to keep me as a reserve, it was worth giving someone else a chance. It's possible that the things I managed to do this season with my team in Torun weren't enough to represent Denmark,"
  6. Stal move fast, 2 million Zloty has been granted by the president of the city after a meeting this weekend. He is legally allowed to give 2 million without a vote, the remaining money needs to be voted through but stal have already had sponsors tonight who say they will give money. The truck that was used for the ‘celebrations’ tonight was from a sponsor of stal’s track who stays with them in the future too. The Stal president announced they have a fresh team next year but cannot formally announce it until they obtain a 2026 license.
  7. He will be super lucky to ride tomorrow with how he was walking after the match and how he was greeting the fans with his jacket on. I’d suspect RR tomorrow once he wakes up tomorrow with the pain.
  8. Right in front of us 🤦🏼 poor lad! That looked hard! He won’t be with us witches I doubt holding his hand like that walking back!
  9. You’ll have to ask him 😂 I’m only saying what he told Eurosport in Poland live on TV 😆
  10. No, he told Polish TV his clutch was breaking on the start line of the semi final and that’s from his own mouth. He wanted to get to the outside first for the fastest line but MJJ broke his line so he couldn’t.
  11. He didn’t, his clutch broke like I mentioned last night in the semi final due to MJJ according to him.
  12. Rain all day followed by strong winds here in Gorzow, it’s started to dry and the cover will soon come off. Home track advantage has certainly gone out of the window.
  13. What bubble burst out of interest? You've got your theory and I’ve got the factual answer, in Poland, this wasn’t the biggest night in world speedway. Poland doesn’t care about ‘World’ speedway, same they don’t care about British, Swedish or Danish. Ekstraliga final was bigger than this to them, and so was Vojens GP final. They have small interest in SoN. Out of curiosity, why does everyone think it’s a joke that Polish fans didn’t fill the stadium, it was £40-90 for one ticket. I’ve been to Ekstraliga matches for £7. Also, Poland wasn’t the only team racing, where were the masses of Swedish, British, Danish, Australian, Czech fans? And before you say “it was in Poland” the FIFA world cup is all over the world but millions of other nations travel to different countries to watch it.
  14. Bewley injured from last night and has withdrawn from the meeting.
