I’d take Kowalski from Wroclaw as a punt in the main body and Mikkel Anderson for the other under 21 rider along with Cooper for the British under 21 rider. Try everything to get Emil back as a 1 with Tobi as a 5 and fit either Brennan Ellis or King in amongst it, have no clue what averages that would add up to but would be a different and decent team with some new interest mixed with a “witches feel” team to it.

I’ve already mapped out roughly the teams from the 2026 thread. Your Gorzow statement is untrue for two clear reasons. Pollestad and Bednar said their goodbyes last night, so how is Bednar going to stay when he already signed a contract with Lublin? And even worse than that you put him in as a junior! Do you not even know next season is a rule change whereas both U24 positions must be filled with polish riders only! Two senior polish riders must also be included and Łaguta and Emil will be classed as this due to Passports, leaving only 3 foreign riders to fill the remaining positions. Holder has already signed for Gorzow. Nagel is back from his loan spell at łodz and he cannot ride as a junior for the reason I already mentioned. Pollestad and Bednar has to make way for him as they have been given bigger money elsewhere and Gorzow, who still are in some money situations had to bring in Nagel for a smaller sum. Pawał and Pawlicki are the two Polish seniors with Kordun and Paluch as the juniors for the moment. Anders and Holder make up the final two positions.

You might be on your own with that one, sorry to be harsh, but your response and attitude is the reason speedway is dying. Speedway needs more atmosphere and more passion. Not a nice little family night out. Go to the cinema if you want that. Sports has always been about atmosphere, look at darts and how it changed completely. I think you have a very closed attitude and mind and would be good working for the upper echelons of British Speedway. This is going to sound super harsh but speedway could afford to lose people with your mindset to gain a lot more people with real change.

I laugh when people open their mouth on here and think they are clever without knowing facts. I’ve always stated guests are a joke FOR and AGAINST my club. I want to win a trophy with my team, not a bunch of guests who have nothing to do with why we got to the final.

Funny how a rider who failed to get in the play off with his contracted team from the start of the season can now knock out another team in the semi-finals. It’s surprising really that anybody watches speedway anymore with genuine love for their team. Nowadays it’s just for everyone to watch the sport. Coleman is right, tribalism of cheering on your team is completely dead in this sport and exactly why speedway won’t get new supporters through the door. First time in 4 years I couldn’t be bothered to watch the play offs. Good meeting or not it’s just beyond a joke. Rules need to change next year with a lot of other bits too. I’m an Ipswich fan but to be honest even if we build an awesome team what’s the point when other teams can’t follow suit and have good and fair competition. Surely everybody wants to win a competitive league and not this current state of affairs. Saying that, good luck Sheffield and Belle Vue and I hope you make some brilliant racing in the final!

Who said about him needing to move to England to ride in British speedway? They have things called planes which everyone else uses to get from country to country without moving home.

Because the speedway GP does not want the backlash if either win and they must play the Russian national anthem, likewise they do not want to play the Polish national anthem for Russians which would also cause backlash.

I’d rather see anyone else win that trophy than someone who turned his back on British speedway yet comes running back for the British final and thinks he is “British champion”. Guy doesn’t even live or ride over here. He struggled to even muster the national anthem first time around, probably still singing the Polish one from last time he sang theirs. Bewley will always be the best British rider in my opinion. If he didn’t get injured I honestly don’t think lambert would have got near him. Lamberts a good rider, just a sh!t person.

And I’ve seen Zmarzlik and others give many interviews after winning so don’t excuse him.

Yeah everything you wrote in your first paragraph is how Ipswich feels about Belle Vue and the distance. I have seen meetings at Belle Vue that have been bore fests and even in the SGP it takes until heat 8 or so to get the outside line working so I think everyone needs to relax about losing Belle Vue. Cardiff was a bigger miss than Belle Vue for me.
