GP line-up for 2026
ShanoXtra replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Yeah I know, I'd say Fricke and Lambert are flaky at the moment so that is entirely possible. -
I'm not that confident still with us, I think anyone in the top 4 can beat each other on any given night. It does make the racing more interesting than the Ekstraliga at the moment that's for sure! Tonight should be another close match.

GP line-up for 2026

I'd guess Lebedevs or Kubera might get Top 7 or SEC win which would automatically put Thomsen back in the Grand Prix due to his finishing position in GP Challenge -
Probably more figure of speech, Emil isnt the type to put anyone down and he knows Kurtz is super fast this season. Plus Doyle even said BK (Brady Kurtz not Burger King) is the fasted guy out there ATM after heat 15 BV vs Witches.

I’d bring Jenkins back ASAP and let him be part of the team, IMO it will only feel right to finish the league how we started it and as must as we win together we also lose together as a team.

Leicester Lions 2025
ShanoXtra replied to SuperStarsFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Polish clubs always allow the riders to ride in Britain. The problem is the rider has pressure to perform and probably knows all his eggs are in the Polish basket, so for his own security of his future, he would choose to miss Britain so he is 100% for Poland. -
When I spoke to him outside of Foxhall a few weeks back he said he wants to be back in it but for now it’s just not his time, and when my partner laughed and said Zmarzlik needs someone to push him he replied “let him have this moment” (in polish with my partner) 😂

GP line-up for 2026

I’d like to think if he doesn’t win SEC, Dudek will be given the fourth wildcard! He has really found good form in league and SEC and Polish Individual. -
Farewell to Emil ?!?!?!? Could this season be the last of Emil in Ipswich? With 3 wildcards, and the possibility of them rising to 4, will łaguta and Emil finally get a spot back in the SGP? I know that SGP wanted them back in after listening to Emil speak but it’s 1 person on the FIM board who wasn’t allowing it. If Emil does get into the GP will he drop Ipswich to focus on that? It’s bad timing for Ipswich as I also believe he is on a 3 year work visa which either runs out at the end of this year or must be renewed, I also know the renewal cost is about £5,000. I sincerely hope not, but if he lifts the trophy this season, his job might be done.

And then if Thomsen finishes top 7 Vaculik will be promoted to SGP, and if Vaculik also gets top 7 Cierniak will be promoted to SGP 😂😂😂 but then it doesn’t finish there… because Woryna, Madsen, MJJ and Lebedevs are all in with a shout for SEC but I would assume Dudek will win it! If however, Dudek comes second, it’s noted on SGP page it won’t go down to the next person who isn’t in the SGP, it will be a fourth wild card, which I would like to think would be given to Dudek anyway. The line-up is completed by three permanent wild cards selected by the SGP Commission. If the SEC winner finishes inside the Speedway GP top seven, four permanent wild cards will be chosen.

Drabik was one on Stals shortlist but after long talks the club and rider failed to agree finances so they decided to look elsewhere, not sure if anyone else has contacted him but I’m sure he will be in demand. Anders is now looking to re-sign with Gorzow after talks elsewhere for him also fell through. Current squad that looks to be retained is below: Anders Thomsen Andzejs Lebedevs Oscar Paluch Adam Bednar (contract agreed in principle - J.Holder)
