  1. Well we will come back to this comment on the Saturday and see if I’m right 😉
  2. My advice would be for the Thomsen top! If they stay up, he is confirmed for 2026 line up!
  3. 😂you can’t be insulting Ukrainian people like that! Roman kasPUTIN? 😂 it’s Kapustin
  4. Wouldn’t recommend a Lebedevs Gorzow top! He is riding for Falubaz next year so it’ll be out of date in a few months!
  5. Yeah but my point was he won the title with Leszno 😂 I think anyone could see he wasn’t going to be in their Ekstraliga team as they wouldn’t survive. Ben cook will do well though I’m sure.
  6. I think the issue with Flint was soon as he got moved into the main body of the team, you would have probably been in the final if he wasn’t in the main body. It looked more mental than physical and maybe the jump done him in mentality as in overthinking things. Same can be said for Thompson who also now is in our main body and struggled at first. The play offs are a lottery and unfortunately you had the 3 heats that lost you the semis in heat 13/14/15 last week. Ipswich have got the more favourable tie with Leicester as we can ride their track better than yours. As I’ve stated before if we don’t win this year we never will!
  7. Majority of stuff that Picko said in that interview I agree with, I even agreed to be fair that if they got to the final they would probably have won it and beaten us. I’m not saying all what he said was crap and that he shouldn’t show passion, we don’t see enough passion in the sport so it’s nice to see. My only problem is the little digs of last week’s meeting losing it for them when it clearly wasn’t. That’s why I wrote the other factors that came into play. Picko got promoted to Ekstraliga with Leszno so would be on cloud nine and didn’t haven’t to he bothered about this but clearly this still meant something to him so I’m happy to his passion.
  8. Stead and Picko still commenting about last week as if it has lost them the meeting is slightly on the side of sore losers. -Holder touched the tapes and got excluded - Sheffield fault -Flint laying the bike down and getting and Fricke excluded - Sheffield fault and they gained from it -Heat 13 / 15 Sheffield just outdone by better riders. - Sheffield fault -Heat 14 moaning about 5-0 and unjust but fail to mention Nick Morris crashed on his own (so highly chance they would have been 5-1 down anyway) - Sheffield fault. -Luke Becker’s chain broke on a 5-1 which would have finished the meeting earlier than best 15. If Sheffield would have won, I don’t believe Leicester would have be so sour even though they are just as unjustly done. Sometimes just admit your riders weren’t as good as your opponents and move on. I can see the sourness and bitterness turning into an absolute tear up and potential for fireworks (not the good kind) on Thursday. I also expect someone to come out of that meeting injured. Flint scoring 0 probably had something to do with them losing but that hasn’t been mentioned.
  9. Sheffield will no doubt have a comment to make after Thursday, I’m sure they will beat us in the remaining league matches thus making the play offs another shambles. They then should have faced Belle Vue and Ipswich vs Leicester would have been tonight. The comments about “this is play off speedway” but nobody mentions two years in the row it’s been chosen and not finished on track?
  10. Good meeting, very tight and as an Ipswich fan I was hoping for Leicester but Sheffield done bloody well to get it to last heat decider! Glad Becker’s chain broke… stops Sheffield moaning that heat 14 in the first leg lost them the semi final 😂 I think Leicester will have a lot more Ipswich fans happy to attend the Monday meeting than if it was Sheffield. Leicester doesn’t seem like if you beat them you’ll get abused and attacked at least. My concern is if Sheffield track injuries our Witches riders at all for a pointless meeting on Thursday.
  11. Crazy stat, before tonight, Zmarzlik had rode 25 heats from gate 4 in Torun’s stadium, winning 24 of those and coming second once, only Dudek had beaten him. Tonight he won from gate 4 in his first race and then heat 15 come second to who… Dudek.
  12. I’d throw him in and see if he sinks or swim, rather him than Kvech or Kai personally. He even beat Łaguta and Bewley against Wroclaw this year. So he can mix it with the big boys. Also beat Woryna, MJJ, this year and they are the Grand Prix next year. And Kvech and Thomsen who were in this year’s SGP… and taking scalps of Holder, Tungate and Pludra, Kowalski, Jensen, Hampel amongst others.
  13. Ok as people are thinking his average doesn’t show his level. His last race before his injury… Lublin vs Falubaz Heat 15: 1st - Przyjemski 2nd - Madsen 3rd - Pawlicki Heat 8: 1st - Zmarzlik 2nd - Przyjemski 3rd - Pawlicki Heat 4: 1sr Lindgren 2nd - Przyjemski 3rd - Pawlicki This is just his last meeting. He beats top riders regularly.
  14. The next junior is 22nd, Przyjemski often beats top riders in Ekstraliga too so I think you are doing him a disservice with that comment,
  15. Pathetic to say Doyle would ‘likely’ injury another rider, because he actually tries to win and not a push over doesn’t mean he will ‘likely’ injury someone. Fricke is not worthy over Doyle. Fricke has done well in Britain and that’s it, very average in SGP, and finished below Doyle in Ekstraliga averages which tells you the levels. Fricke didn’t miss any GPs but Doyle did and Fricke only beat him by 13 points. Cierniak is nowhere near good enough for SGP. He finished 22nd in league averages, people want competitive riders not just random ones, an actually logical shout would be Drabik who finished 11th in averages. Parnitskyi is not SGP level, because he won SGP2 (due to Przyjemskis injury) doesn’t mean he is worthy of SGP. He is in M.2 league so hasn’t even proved himself in the top league. Even in M.2 he finished 10th in averages, again, a logical choice for SGP would be Przyjemski who actually races again these guys regularly and sits at 7th in the averages of the top league.
  16. Why is it too big of a jump for Przyjemski when he is 7th in the overall averages of the Ekstraliga? He is ahead of 11 of this years SGP riders in the hardest league in the sport, for comparison Kvech is 37th.
  17. Play offs only attract bigger crowds because of the play off system, which means the league doesn’t really matter. Scrap the play offs and all of a sudden crowds come for the league matches because it’s the way you win the league.
  18. Nicki refused to go for an interview. He said it was President Mrożek's fault. Knudsen was riding in the nominated races, not him. Nicki said he'd had enough of speedway and racing for today.
  19. Below is Daniel Kaczmarek, 28, he is a speedway rider who crashed when qualifying for the Polish individual championships back in April this year. After a serious crash and many days in hospital he was diagnosed with four-limb paralysis. For rehabilitation he requires 370,000 zloty which him and his family cannot afford, a fund page was set up an siepomaga.pl so he can have neurological treatment, medical transport and equipment which is required. Speedway Ekstraliga have committed 20,000 zł to the cause. All Gorzow riders today has dedicated a points wages towards his rehabilitation.
  20. You deffo do, that’s a poor reply to come back with. Zmarzlik and many others aren’t cocky or arrogant, I could name you top sportsman in all sports who aren’t and got to the very top.
