  1. That masters score isn’t really a true reflection. He dominated pretty much every race he was in and showed classed, he was miles ahead in races and only lost out in one due to mechanical failure. He was riding just as good as Doyle and I for one would love to see him back. Pickering was riding really well before heat 15 so deffo the right choice up to that point and even then brought a hell of a race to Emil. Tonight was a showcase for speedway fans, great atmosphere, even better races with lots of moves on a warm summers evening. TNT should have been in town for that one. I’d also like to say thank you to Sheffield for bringing their A game and taking it to us making it such an exciting meeting!
  2. Also Hawkins had his comments: I know Jason is keen to do the Grand Prix this weekend, so hopefully he makes it back and is fit enough for that and comes through unscathed so he can get back racing for us very soon, but we will just have to wait and see. Dan is recovering and the bone will fix when it fixes, there is no real update on his situation.
  3. It’s BS comment, Chris Louis said that Doyle was hoping to ride so where he mustered that random bit of info is beyond me.
  4. Apple weather is good it’s just bloody painful when they drop from the sky 😂
  5. If this ends up being a gate and go I never want to hear another negative comment on this forum for any other meeting haha
  6. Chris Louis said Doyle’s plan was to ride this weekend. Unless he’s had bad news since?
  7. Zmarzlik interview : I always have a big emotion riding in this stadium which is my home. On the track it feels easy and I ride with GPS knowing where to go”.
  8. First loss for Stał at home this season. At least they were in a few races… tough lesson but this isn’t our fight this season, bottom half teams are.
  9. Crowds and team agreed, but financially they are in a strong position. My worry as a Gorzów fan is that Rybnik already beat us this season once! Bednar should now be in the team for the remaining season I hope.
  10. Cream always rises to the top and whoever, wherever, rides in a meeting, Zmarzlik will always prevail. He has a higher żużel IQ than any other rider.
  11. Yeah true. Gorzów also have 3 SGP riders and paluch who is a superstar Polish rider at only 19 yr old.
  12. Nah not really, they know he is the best rider right now and more proud that he is from Gorzów than being sad he wins races. Bigger picture is that Zmarzlik can’t win a meeting on his own so they always have a chance if they fight in the other races.
  13. He would always be fast on his home track. But granted, he does know what to do at the right moments… always!
  14. I don’t think that comment is implacable as he got shut out and was on the receiving end of a 5-1 in his first race.
  15. Always horrible to watch the rider follow the bike into the air fence.
  16. Oh my god haha my partner just translated for me the studio talk on TV and they said this is the same reference as Częstochowa vs Wrocław ! Oh dear haha
  17. Rain is due now, if it doesn’t fall within the next 17 minutes then they are going to remove the cover and start track prep.
  18. No fajfer today due to his crash against GKM, Bednar will take his place.
  19. 19:15 is unofficial start time (UK). No rain currently in Gorzów but they expect rain to come back soon and are waiting for it to pass.
  20. Nah I’m not saying it was amazing speedway, but I think British speedway and English people are really negative. For one positive post here you’ll see ten negative. It isn’t Polish speedway, we don’t have tracks, riders, stadia, facilities, money etc here in Britain. It is what it is, with the above mentioned and the fact the guesting system is flawed (I was annoyed that Brennan was helping our rivals!) we just have to take whatever we have and try and make it work. All I’m saying is at least we still have speedway, people can be moa about it all they want, but you’ll be moaning more in 10 years when the sport doesn’t exist here, like all things in life, enjoy it whilst it’s here.
