The latest issue coming from the club is that they are still obviously in debt but are having loans from various parties offering them the money, the issue comes with the city council who need to act as a guarantor. They don’t need to give any more but are reluctant to accept the guarantor venture due to not yet being provided the debt plan from Stal, Stal have one month to provide all documentation for the loans so the city will accept the guarantor status, only then will Ekstraliga provide their 2026 licence to run.

If this wasn’t the case the club would almost have had no debt by the end of this calendar year. In addition it was also mentioned the play down matches with Częstochowa and Bydgoszcz have cost Stal a further 1.2 million zloty for running stadium costs and rider costs. 30th of September (Tuesday) is an official meeting between the city and the club.
