Lets see what Monday produces racing wise. -
Im not doubting that, i just didnt think he would do a job at No1

I really hope Grant can pull something out of the hat for Newcastle, sad to see them in their current state especially when you think of the days of the Owens, Hunter, etc.I have a trip planned up there soon always enjoy a night or two in Newcastle. I thought at the time signing BWD was a waste of time and so it proved, hope things turn around for the fans.

All valid points but you have to ask why the FIM chose to have these qualifiers on a designated UK race night, dont know if the promoters could do anything about that, does underline the level of protection UK race nights actually have. Its going to be the proverbial one man and his dog tonight. Its interesting when Manchester storm were getting 12,000 to 16,000 at the arena for ice hockey, John Perrin stated as soon as they stop giving out free tickets the bubble will burst which it did big style and the club folded, with that in mind would freebie tickets work in speedway?

Ipswich v Lynn June 2nd

Doyle is a class act and great respect to him for his loyalty to British speedway. -
Due to the football play off and UCL final i actually forgot about the GP, probably due to the fact ive never enjoyed a Prague GP. Reading peoples thoughts im glad i didnt waste my time with the meeting or the highlights package, surely now these dire tracks will be weedled out as the GP rights holders wont want this type of event going forwards?

I would just like to thank Ipswich for gazumping us for Batchelors services, phew close one that

I dont think its that cut and dried yet, Sheffield will certainly be thereabouts at the business end, its very early doors and no doubt Rob Lyon will get Peterborough going i can see a change or two there, and i think we will see some closer results at home, last Monday was a bit of a freak result. Dont under estimate Lemon, -

Probably not having Brady had something to do with it, you were right a big bottle job, from your mob, walk in the park, brasso looking to have lost his shine -
Yes ive seen really good meetings over the years at Monmore.

Never been so thankful for the fast forward button, really terrible meeting, Kelvin said twice a good nights speedway, thats really selling the sport to any newbie tuning in, if they think thats a good night they certainly wont be in a hurry to pay a visit.

Theres been plenty of tears around Old Trafford since that game Lisa, Hopefully Ten Hag can oversee the rebuild we are so desperate for, as for Aces very early days, i dont think Zagar neccessarily makes us favourites as some seem to think, today was one of those days, we rode really well Peterborough had a bad day at the office, Harris Nicholls had bike problems Basso was nowhere near the pace, i think we would have won anyway but no doubt it wouldnt have been the landslide.
-
No doubt we will see quite a few changes as the season progresses, with the play off system it's now not about the team you start with but the team you finish with.
-
To be fair Wolfie when Wolves signed Tai for the play offs only which did us no favours my thought was fair play to them.
-
The overall production was very good and a step up for speedway on TV, expecting a follow the leader borefest i thought the meeting was actually good with some good racing, Kelvin did a sterling job it was obvious how affected he was by recent events. I just hope it dosent turn out to be a boring one man stroll to the title as its hard to see where a challenge to Zmarzlik is going to come from at the moment.

Welcome back Matej, no doubt the lower deck lawyers will soon find another cause.
