Just highlights how weak the league is overall taking out Poole who have totally dominated since dropping down a level, i had doubts about Glasgow from the start especially the signings of Hagon and Hausi, unfortunate for Glasgow they lost Howarth he,s left a large hole that guests will struggle to fill.

I agree with you, but overall Poole have not had much opposition after dropping down, they have dominated all competitions, but whether it be Belle Vue or Poole its up to the other clubs to mount those challenges. I thought Glasgow would have challenged more tbh, again this season they dont look likely play off winners, odd really when you consider the ownership, they certainly have the means to be strong every season.

He scored 3+1 for Kings Lynn in the league at the NSS, not much better than Armadale i think the level of opposition was the main factor.

Considering the line up i was Hoping Tom Brennan would have a good meeting and bang in some good points to regain some confidence having been forced to ride at No1 for so long, so far not going well which i must say has surprised me. Hopefully he can come to the party in the later heats.

I would be surprised to see a half decent crowd in for this meeting, take Lambert out its more of a Championship riders final, and to be honest the price isnt worth whats on offer, Not like if we had Bewley, and Woffinden in the line up to give it that bit of added spice. I suppose thats British speedway today, hopefully as a lot of the riders are of a similar level after Lambert that can create some good close racing for ITV.

Totally agree Mike, you can see how much the standard has fallen when you look at the quality of the British Final, Lambert apart from the Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoons at Brandon. And as the standard has fallen the prices have gone up, as more fans walk away it will keep increasing to make up the downfall till even the die hard fans walk away, as have many this season when you look at attendences around the tracks.

Kings Lynn have the potential in their team to do a lot better than recent visiting teams, especially if Fricke, Cook, and Kvech are on it.

And as weve seen many times in football play offs its about peaking at the right time, with speedway you can add in injuries too, also as the climate changes later in the year set ups change. Yes we should win the league but there are things to factor in. Having said that even though i like the team to succeed theres not much kudos attached to this 6 team league is there?

A bad meeting here is the exception not the rule, ive seen yawn fests at your track where both teams have been competitive, i think the anti BV brigade headed by yourself and Chun have,nt got over the fact we actually got this stadium built, if other councils around the country actually backed their speedway clubs maybe the sport could actually have the stadia that people expect today. As for the skills they were certainly missing a Foxhall recently wernt they? Stewart Dickson is excellent tactically aware and can motivate riders to raise their game, Chris Adams does exactly the opposite.

Seems more and more just come out for the play offs themselves and use BSN for the rest of the season, or those who still have an interest do. The close season shambles, a six team league and big gaps between meetings i would think have taken their toll too.

I know injuries are part and parcel of the game but the amount of guests/rider replacements this season seems worse than at any other time, who really cares about this so called "league"?

Totally agree this so called league is terrible, throw in the big gaps between home meetings, the amount of guests etc and its no wonder even die hard fans are walking away.
