  1. We have seen in the past Poole bringing in Hancock and Wolves bringing in Woffinden, now we bring in Lambert, forgetting how the rules were written seasons ago these moves did not break any rules but the one thing i dont really agree with is riders who dont commit fully to British speedway using us as a couple of extra paydays when the overseas commitments have ended, You can have nothing but admiration for Doyles continued commitment to the sport here.
  2. No doubt Ipswich will be better in Manchester on Monday, theres no pressure on them and they can just go out and enjoy themselves, Doyle is superb everywhere, Tungate and Batchelor can certainly ride the NSS as can King, the other semi could be a close one but Sheffield are in form and i would still put the down as favorites overall.
  3. I was terrified when Belle Vue were linked with Batchelor pre season, and thats the reason, bobbins.
  4. Good to see Norick starting to find his way round the so called technical tracks.
  5. Still releasing great music though mate, the last album is up there with the best.
  6. Ive got a ticket for Uriah Heep next Monday, could go now but will still take the hit on that one for the second leg.
  7. Weve given Lemon pelters in the past over some of his decisions, whats witches fans opinions about Hawkins? Do you think thats it for him?
  8. Makes up for all the injuries weve had during play offs, think weve managed 4 injury free teams in 12 matches or something like that.
  9. The meeting can still be turned round as we have capitulated before in the final five heats, hopefully we see it out, result apart very poor fare.
  10. Neither do i the way things are the best chance for the others would in the old one off final.
  11. Imagine how many Mauger would have won under this formula with his outstanding consitency? And he had to do all the qualifiers too.
  12. Well done Dan great to see him win but the meeting overall was a terrible advert for the sport, no doubt the powers that be were praying for Dan to win, makes it easier to deflect away from all the negatives. The novelty of Cardiff wore off for me some seasons ago, thought it was played out then this proves it.
  13. Hes sat there probably thinking and people call snooker boring.
  14. What a total embarrassment for the sport, this really is the pits.
  15. To warn people like me not to bother turning over, that i contemplated it shows how woeful this meeting has been.
  16. As a utd fan im actually tempted to turn over, says a lot about this so far
  17. I certainly dont regret giving this one a miss, lets hope the racing improves, correction we get some instead of these processions.
  18. Even with the big scores the racing has been good in all the meetings. When it comes to play off time its a different ball game, all or nothing and the pressure is really on, in the past injuries have conspired against us but can we get the monkey off our back this season if we get to the final? Then league performances count for nothing so i for one wont be counting any chickens. Without doubt Ipswich and Sheffield will be far better come play off time, all to play for.
  19. Exactly there was no point in keeping people hanging around, it was obvious there would be no more racing so apart from hoping people would spend more money (which they didnt around me) it was pointless,
  20. Actually Manchester is number ten in the list of wettest places in the UK, still not on a par with the sunny south though.
