Can’t see Ipswich repeating last season’s win as in losing Doyle and Emil , they’ve lost that fear factor in a 1 and 2 . It’s not possible to improve on those 2 , so they’ll be relying heavily on their second strings and reserves to step up regularly. And as Thompson has also left , that makes that even harder. But we’ll see . The excitement is building …

The way I see it is that this league is a joke . People commenting who’s got the best team or worst team . Who gives a sh.t in the grand scheme of things. At least Belle Vue fans have guaranteed entertainment in their team, with 2 of the top 3 racers in the world in the side. And they definitely entertain. Can the other teams say that ??

Good idea but what if the same team wins both the leagues ? Then both leagues have different runners up . Who contests the grand final. The double league winners v ???

People will still turn up for their speedway fix. When it’s ingrained from an early age it’s hard to turn your back on it I reckon. It’s just a shame that there’s nothing really to celebrate if you come out on top of 4 other teams. People still will though and that’s their right I suppose.

Theyll come 5th at worst in this tin pot league. Imagining celebrating an achievement where you only have to better 4 other teams. There’s a lot of over excitement on here over nothing but a joke competition.

Couldn’t keep me away up to 5 years ago . Then it became the odd meeting because of work commitments. That effort to go now though has gone. The lack of respect for the people who pay the wages , us, is unacceptable. Kept in the dark, only informed as a last result. The lack of ambition and direction in the sport is unbelievable. Clubs telling the sport where they’ll race and where they won’t. I find that laughable for a so called professional sport. It’s on its last legs as is my enthusiasm for it. Remembering Those days in the 70’s watching Bradford Northern at Odsal are great memories. It’s a totally different proposition these days.

So the same 5 teams that were odds on to start this season, last October, are confirmed. Couldn’t they have told us that news then. That would have at least given us 2 extra months to rip into them for being useless… which they are 🙄

The custodians right now of our beloved sport certainly test our patience. Speedway fans have needed it by the bucketload these last few years
