All sensible stuff by the sounds of it, personally think the gp could do with being pared back to 6 rounds ideally, interesting he mentions those looking to move the needle maybe he's referring to Harry and Linda's massive efforts behind the scenes. Also he mentions get the GP back on track financially which seems to indicate at one point it was at least breaking even I wonder when it all started to go wrong, maybe Flagrag might have an insight given he seems close to the media side of things, interested in hearing any views on this if anyone has anything to add.

All at some point should also all be potential gp riders.

I'm not knocking it Blobby in fact I'm thinking having ad-hoc guests could help the sport out if Belle Vue for instance could get Emil or Jepsen Jensen in say for 3-4 meetings to part cover Bewley crowds you would think would be pretty good to offset the cost.

Lets be honest as soon as they got them two youngsters in at 6 and 7 barring injuries it was game over, normally to get one rider who can add four points to his starting average should win you the league let alone two. Throw in Lawson who is one of the top three riders in the league, Zach Cook who is to good now for the championship by far, Kerr who is capable of getting anywhere between 3 and 15 on a standard night, Newman who has ridden above expectations and being blessed in not having Bowes available which has strengthened them. Any team who got them two lads at reserve, so long as the promoter had even a tad bit of ambition was going to win the league baring injuries it's just as well they didn't get Beau Bailey for Bowes in the end as that would have been another possible 8 point rider coming in on 4 starting average.

What's the score with Kemp guesting has he signed for a championship side or is he going to be just guesting for any team that's willing to pay up until his European calendar fills up again ?

Yes if you could have got Thorssell in on 4.5 that would have been the signing of the season as you would hope in this league he would be north of a 7 point plus average even if he was in the top five of the team.

Yep he's probably England's best ever rider but i'm another who wish he would give it up and move onto something new he's no longer the force he was which is to be expected , but these riders have incredible grit as Woffy shows. Chris Holder is another example should have probably had 2-3 world titles but two terrible crashes and what happened to Darcy pulled him back from the absolute top level. and like Tai in the UK he can be 60% of the rider he was at his best and still beat 90% of the opposition in his sleep.

Injuries haven't helped after Poole they have two of best UK youngsters out there.

Jeez when you look at those numbers you have to give them credit for riding here at all for relative buttons in comparison.
