16.3.1 In any declaration where 2 or more riders hold an identical MA (i.e. cannot be determined by a 3 rd or more decimal point) then the (re) Declaration must nominate the hierarchical order, except that where riders have a previous MA, then the higher placed rider from the previous issue shall retain the higher position. And from today's press release that has how disappeared from the BSPA and Poole websites "Ford has elected to drop Kurtz into the reserve berth and elevate Pedersen" Looks like someone hadn't read the rule book closely enough. I wonder who spotted it first

It's Ben Wilson -
Currently being the key word. New green sheets (effective from Monday) show him at 5.49 which would make him a very attractive signing for a PL club.

No Rob, regs are (for once) crystal clear. 18.9.2 says: In heat 4 the number 7, unless certified by the medical officer ... -

I just wish the choices were a bit more imaginative. There is nothing more clichéd than listening to 'The Final Countdown' as the riders go to the tapes or hearing another burst of Billy Ocean's 'Red Light Spells Danger'

16.3.4 - applies to all leagues. There is one exception which is that in the EL injured riders can be replaced in the 7 days before the start of the playoffs (16.3.5) So watch out for reports of Bjarne Pedersen spraining a finger opening a jar of pickled herrings! -

Er .. I hate to depress you but Nikolai Klindt is now Leicester's number one. (Hougaard is second in the aves so everyone can have an R/R ride) -
I think not. Les Collins started in 1975 riding for Crewe. McKinlay's last season was 1975 (for Scunthorpe). When their teams met Les Collins was absent at Scunthorpe and in the return meeting McKinlay was missing.

Don't think it compares with the team that made five changes simultaneously mid-season a few years back. -

I'd be more concerned about Auty and Lindgren's journey from Scunthorpe. -
Do Speedway Promoters Ever Come On Here?
arnieg replied to Little Thumper's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I think it is naive to think it doesn't happen in football too. See for example: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/08/12/charlton-athletic-fan-can-only-get-season-ticket-if-he-signs-beh/ -
Do Speedway Promoters Ever Come On Here?

Problem is charismatic leaders need willing follower. Speedway promoters (who tend to be used to being their own bosses) are not by nature such people, and collaborative working is not something that comes naturally to them. -

Do Speedway Promoters Ever Come On Here?
arnieg replied to Little Thumper's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
It is worth noting that for the SCB coordinator role (Graham Reeve's position) one of the short listed candidates was a supporter and BSF member with no involvement in running the sport, so they are clearly open to constructive input. However when even the most articulate and eloquent of posters disagree on the prognosis and cure, how do the promoters decide which prescriptions to take on board particularly given they will as individuals have different opinions to some of their fellow promoters. -

Good news Jarek finally returned tonight, scoring 9+2, finishing with two race wins. -
Given the persistent rumours about restructuring the Leagues this thread might not even be in the right section!
