British final 15th August

I think technically they didn't enter, so there was no need to pull out. -
Good news KENT EAGLES SPEEDWAY 2026 After a recent management re structure, and the separation of Kent Eagle Speedway Club and Sussex Eagles motorcycle club, it gives us great pleasure to announce there will be speedway action at Iwade stadium this year. After such a successful 2025 we needed to come back for another season, and we can all breathe a sigh of relief as this will happen now. Unfortunately we are not racing under the SCB though, but will run under the NORA banner for 2026 with 6 home meetings proposed. We hope all of our fans will continue to support us for another season of awesome racing. We will be putting together an exciting team ready to do battle with our opponents. Further details will follow soon on the structure of the meetings and potential opponents shortly. Look forward to seeing you all soon. David Graveling Emily Humphrey

Yeah but they are all socialists over there! 😈 -

It's the Birnam Wood Badgers who are the mystery 6th team isn't it?

Sticking with Tim

Seems unlikely to be an issue. The stadium has been there for 60+ years. I can't see speedway needing separate permission. Conditions restricting use tend to be a feature of more modern stadiums.

Does that mean he's no longer French? -
70/71 close season: Allied Presentations swapped the licences as they ran both tracks. Reading inherited Michanek, Curtis, Gifford and Lovaas. Newcastle then promptly relocated to Sunderland for 4 years.

Young speedway fan: daddy who's Linda Lusardi? Dad: hush child, someone your grandpa used to wink over. -
I really don't understand why people keep talking about Oxford - it is so obviously a non-starter. Who will go? Northampton fans? That must be about 3 people Floating neutrals - 75 to 100 Visiting fans 50 - 75 Oxford fans - well there was never much enthusiasm for the Spires even before their poor results, so call the team Northampton and interest will be near zero. Did Stoke fans flock to Cradley at Stoke or Glasgow fans embrace the Scottish Monarchs? No. And in this case 'home' fans can still watch the Cheetahs and Chargers so unless they are well off and/or ultra keen I don't see them attending, certainly not on a regular basis. So with an expected crowd of 3-400 the supposed benefactor must be Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk (perish the thought)

No. The value of riders as assets was effectively the loan fees they could generate. But for every pound of loan fees received lost by clubs with large asset bases a pound of loan fees paid will be saved by clubs with small asset bases. So while it will reduce the value of clubs with large asset bases there should be a compensating increase in the value of clubs with small asset bases.

Probably Demi Blu Harris? Saw her twice last season on 250s (Worky & Iwade), she's got some fight in her.

I think all the major leagues have now been published except the Polish National League [tier 3] which includes the likes of Wright. Flint, Castagna, Riss, Masters, Ellis, Kemp, Lawson, Klindt and Howarth.

A frank and informative response. And what do riders like Ashton Vale, Charlie Southwick and Sonny Springer do next season? 10 NDL matches plus the British under 19 and that's it?
-
No that's the 2025 rule. It has been announced that (for British riders only) it will be extended to include other reasons for absence in 2026.
-
I think you need to factor in the riders who exit the NDL pool as a consequence of having moved on to higher things [or retired in Ben Trigger's case]. With Prem and Championship places already will Cairns, Rushen and Scott be looking for NDL places, and have Joe Thompson and Luke Harrison outgrown the league? If some of these riders don't take up NDL spots I think you are looking at 40 or even 38 as the sweet spot for the limit.

He made his Elite League debut in 2004 aged 17 (for Ipswich). The previous season he rode in the Premier League for first Reading and then Arena Essex. In 2003 he also rode in the British League Cup (an intermediate competition) for Ipswich
-
Correct. The 11.46 figure includes 25 Sept v Leicester which is not included in the final GSA's And no his last Championship average is not relevant as he did not ride in the Championship in 2025.
