  1. Funnily enough this was in the last Oxford programme [26/4 Chargers v Middlesbrough] Go back a decade and a list of the top British teens would have been headed by Robert Lambert and Adam Ellis. While they are making their mark in the international speedway world, others, notably Josh Bates, Max Clegg, Zach Wajtknecht, Liam Carr and James Shanes – have faded from view. [Wajtknecht is World Long Track Champion and Shanes still appears on NORA tracks.] No matter how well structured youth progression is (and it could be better), there will always be a high attrition rate. Let’s hope many of today’s talented teens are still in action in a decade’s time.
  2. Thete was a very long thread on this going right back to the 1930s. 1983 was the year that caused most debate. @lucifer sam and @norbold were two of the main contributors
  3. Michael Jepsen Jensen won it on 7 [2012 - Horsens]
  4. Co-incidentally the two youngest teams in the league now that Middlesbrough have been de-Triggered.

  6. It's the West Country - are you sure they are not burning witches?
  7. That was my error, I assumed there were 4 quslifyers not 5.
  8. Mildenhall started at 7.30 and are already 12 heats in. Yes Mildenhall. [Panthers lead 38-33]
  9. They all meet in ht 19 so there is a strong possibility one of them will run a last and go out

  11. Based on my 2025 world rankings (which include both his Torun and Pardubice high points) I had him at number 37 in the under 19 rider rankings just above Luke Harrison and Jody Scott (who are both a year younger). He's no Mitch McDiarmid (17th in under 19s), and he's not even the highest rated German (Tyler Haupt and Janek Konczak are the names to watch out for). On that basis I think a 4.00 average is a reasonable aspiration for Hausl, and given the need to settle in to a strange environment even that may be a challenge.
  12. Third in AMA Championship series last year, so that should be an unequivocal yes.
  13. Signed a 'Warsaw' contract with Krakow. Has not as yet ridden for them. So watch this space ...
  14. 7 posts on their Facebook group since 1 April [not counting the April fool] Sounds like the promotion is doing its bit, just those lazy fans letting the side down 😉
  15. Unless you are Darlington in 1999-2000
  16. This is a big failing of club streamers. Home fans go to the track to watch live while time and cost means away fans buy the stream. And add in neutrals who just tune in for a good meeting. Which means a high proportion of the viewers don't want to hear endless moans about the exclusion of the rider in red or why the rider in white was 'lucky' to win the race.
  17. Mitch McDiarmid on Wednesday beat them both
  18. Not that new: In 1998 the Premier League KNOCK OUT Cup consisted of two groups. In the group matches Peterborough easily bested Reading winning at Alwalton and Smallmead, but Racers won the cup beating Peterborough in the final.
  19. The programme last night was a standard 2026 edition.
  20. It'll soon be Market Harborough Town
