  1. If it is a broken collarbone then recuperation isn't a long period, assuming its a clean break and its not a recurrence. Brummies have a 2 weeks off after the Somerset meeting, its possible Ellis could be back by the time the Scorpions visit on 14/08. Eagles visit on 7/8 I would suggest would be unlikely.
  2. Likely to be unknown until Tuesday. Guest for Ellis, Agertoft, Castagna, Guest for Morris, R/R Aarnio, Hume, Shanes is my best guess at this point.
  3. Is that only for assessed averages? Becker must have done enough meetings to have his PL average converted by now. Nicol has, else a PL team couldn't have signed him
  4. Ellis. Didn't look comfortable all night, bike going up rather than forward from the gate, he seemed to be holding on for dear life rather than.in control. Agertoft. Slow. Castagna. Frustrating!!! When he is forced to use the outside line he goes quick if not he is slow around the inside. Ayres. Good win in heat 3, probably the best race of the night. Idiotic exclusion. Did well to not ride over Hume (I think) who fell in front of him in heat 14. Once the outside run was dusty, he went backwards. Hume. Awful. Caused two accidents. Shanes. Only Brummie to come out of the meeting in credit, despite probably throwing away the only chance they had of winning the meeting. Heat 10 on a 5-1 with Ellis, goes too wide allowing both Bears through, then falls. MPT can consider himself lucky the heat was awarded, looked quicker than Ellis. Heat 11 meekly concedes a 5-1. Redeems himself later, albeit to late. Also cost Brummies a potential heat 8 5-1, getting in Agertofts way exiting turn 2.
  5. If Ellis has broken collarbone as suspected, from what he said on centre green Morris isn't back anytime soon & no Aarnio update. Might as well start from scratch, Shanes aside.
  6. Hume caught Ellis entering turn 4 of first lap in heat 13. Ellis suspected broken collarbone. Off to hospital. It's mathematically over as contest for certain now, in truth Redcar have been comfortable all night. Racing not as good as the Glasgow meeting. Turns 1&2 very dusty. Castagna should be made to go off gate 4 every heat, it encourages him to move from his preferred inside line and he goes much quicker.
  7. Raining in Wolverhampton, albeit not heavy. How's it looking over Perry Barr?
  8. Well I have to hope my Częstochowa blight doesn't affect the Brummies. 3 matches seen this year, 3 away wins.
  9. Bewley 5+1 from 3 rides for Rospiggarna. Started with a 0, didn't take second ride (guessing T/S). Paid win ahead of Holder & Milik. Then a win over Protasiewcz, Milik & AJ.
  10. Match in Eskilstuna now off. What happened to blue in heat 10 in Malilla?
  11. Panthers site says Wright has dislocated a shoulder, nothing on Redcar or Brummies site as yet as to whether it'll be a guest or R/R.
  12. I'm sure Morris was with Lakeside in the Championship last year. Edit. http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com confirms he was.
  13. According to the readers' decision, on Tuesday at WP SportoweFakty you will be able to follow the broadcast of the Dackarna meeting in Vastervik (51% of votes cast). Smederna v Vetlanda 37% Masarna v Piraterna 5% Indianerna v Rospiggarna 7%
  14. I can answer my own question. Morris 3 meetings in Nice 1 LZ averaging 4.67 1 meeting 3 rides, 3 points in Elitserien
  15. If Morris is getting meetings for his continental clubs, is he doing as badly as he is for Wolverhampton? Is not doubling up affecting him, it's the first year he hasn't, isn't it?
  16. I lost the will to live after watching Nichollls unable to as Sir Kelv would say "Land a blow" on Berge
  17. I'll be gutted if Charles Wright isn't riding, one of the more entertaining riders. Was a hefty off tonight though.
  18. How long are Morris & Aarnio likely to be out for? Without both Brummies are reliant on Castagna doing something in heat 15 & Ellis being nighe unbeatable to be competitive. Sure Wright will have ridden Perry Barr before.
  19. The Redcar Bears are the visitors to Perry Barr on Wednesday 17/07. Anyone have a clue if Teri Aarnio or Ashley Morris are likely to be fit. Birmingham having to constantly rely on guests is one of the reasons I stopped going. No Danish league fixtures until August that I can find. Assume no injury issues for Redcar should be the team that recently won at Sheffield? Charles Wright, Erik Riss, Michael Palm Toft, Kasper Andersen, Jordan Stewart, Nathan Greaves, Tom Woolley.
  20. Surely I must have more thanks to Smektala alone? I'm never betting on Lindback again and jinxing Lambert is why I haven't bet on him in the GP btb.
