Swindon V Belle Vue. 06/04/17.
Col replied to Sidney the robin's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Well Belle Vue do probably have the most consistent top 5, not a surprise Swindon dropped points at home if Morris & Doyle are not imperious which they need to be. What was wrong with Ellis? Nice to see a result not decided by the scores of the reserves. -
And Klindt puts in a match winning performance again as the Pirates edge out the Aces at Wimbourne road, while the Wolves tail keeps wagging LOL, how predictable. Hats off to Howarth, I thought he was second worst signing after Skornicki, but he's been your star performer so far.
-
Just look at that useless waggy tail Wolves fans. Victory is shallow when it is by a solitary point especially because the of the ineptitude of the visiting team manager & getting a lucky 5-0.

Rye House V Wolverhampton Sat 1st April
Col replied to Dave Stummings's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
That Wolves tail cost them a point and it is going to wag all year. Solid Rye debuts for Nicholls & Harris, one of whom Wolves should have signed instead of Thorsell or Masters. But that drum has been beaten enough. Howarth is performing above what I thought he was capable for Wolves at least. We shall see how Klindt performs at reserve on his visit Rye before I mock Steve Brum further. -
I have no doubt Wolves will make the playoffs, basically because of the failings & limitations of other teams. But Wolves will get massacred in the semi. You know it, I know it, everyone knows it. Is reaching the semi deemed successful? Depends on your ambition. Finishing 3rd I would agree is a successful season for a Rugby or Football club. But there are 8 top tier teams, two are new to the top tier, and an established team has had to be rebuilt from scratch. Another are in the process of building a new stadium. Wolves should have higher ambitions than finishing 3rd and getting wiped out on either the East or South Coast in the Semi.

Absolutely pathetic showing from Poole. Shows just how committed their top two actually are to British Speedway. Congrats to Kings Lynn.
-
I'm sorry Dog heads, you've flushed potential consecutive league titles down the toilet. Shall we take moment to reflect on your humiliation at the south coast or just chuckle at your reserves score of #7 at a Championship track. Nathan Greaves (Guest) - EF, 0, (JG - 1'), 0, 0 = 0 Why why why do you have so much blind faith?

Wolves V Poole 27/3/17 + Poole V Wolves 29/3/17 Es.
Col replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Expected really, although well done Shanes, that I didn't expect, made up for the deficiencies of the Pirates gating tart #1. So do Wolves fans now realise they should have signed Klindt before they handed team spots to Skornicki & Howarth? And wouldn't Harris or Nicholls have scored more than Masters over two legs. That Clegg could be the best #7 in the league but he would struggle as the lead reserve. I told you all winter you built a team that couldn't retain the title and my prediction has manifested so early it is laughable. -
Wolves V Poole 27/3/17 + Poole V Wolves 29/3/17 Es.
Col replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
He is visiting Monmore, has tightbendphobia. As does Krurtz. Considering what Klindt accomplished, the other Pirates must have been pretty drivel. -
BTW your favourite David Howe was rubbish at PK's testimonial. And Ricky Wells proved he would have been a more valuable signing than Thorsell & Masters, average wise. Klindt beat Thorsell by half a lap. Funny. He is a Poole reserve, yet a Wolves asset, and Thorsell is your second heat leader. Skornicki is injured already and likely to miss you opener. Harris & Nicholls were more impressive than Thorsell & Masters, just imagine how good a team wolves *could* have signed. On the plus side Howarth wasn't as bad as I thought he'd be.

So why if Auty is clearly starting the season on 7.01 were you so belligerently obnoxious in your poisonous posts against Auty that Lebedevs was third in the Leicester averages? When he could not have been. Nilsson, Wolbert & Auty were higher.

What a complete load of expletives. I am glad that King & Bates are being fully utilised by the leagues in their home nation, but gutted Lebedevs won't be in Britain this year. As far as I was aware he had signed for a Polish Ekstraliga so will be rarely used. I'm certain this change of Lions team is totally down to the confusion & controversy added to the inability of the BSPA to decide what average a SGP & SWC experienced Latvian should start the year as average wise. It is now clear that Ford & CVS think Lebedevs will be too strong a reserve for the GB Speedway Premierrthing.... ****s!
-
So has it been decided if Lebedevs will be the greatest reserve in the league to start the season on 4.5 or a reasonable but wildly inconsistent 3rd heat leader on +7.00 which pushes the Lions average into special dispensation territory? Or is there some new assessed average in place designed only for Latvians?
-
What a competition this is. Who can be in the most heats when more competent riders fail to complete 4 laps!
-
Bjerre needs to swap with Fricke, not Worrall first set of averages. Fricke should be at 5, Cook with Worrall at 3&4.
-
Without doubt King is the better option, Fricke was pretty disgraceful last year. Being injured for Belle Vue but riding for Rospiggarna every week. You don't need riders like that. And when Fricke did turn up in the playoffs he didn't perform. You know what you get from Danny King.
-
So the BSPA putting him as third highest in the Lions averages is wrong. Thanks. And a massive FU to those of you out there that cannot be arsed to try & figure stuff out via Math.
-
I have never seen anyone under 60 at Wimbourne Rd, except the other half & a few dogs!
-
I don't understand the Sedgeman obsession, I thought he was a poor rider when I watched him week in week out at Perry Barr many years ago. King will ride every meeting for BV, Fricke took about 4 months off in the middle of the season but continued to ride weekly in Sweden. King is on a lower average.
-
With the sad news from Brandon. Surely King, K Bjerre & Bates are a shoe in at the NSS. Bewley still fits, with 4.89 to spare. Harsh on R Worrall & Jacobs I admit.
-
If this is death of Coventry Speedway, I wish their fans well. I loved visiting Brandon for British & Overseas finals during my youth and when Cradley didn't have a fixture home fixture on a Saturday night. I came to support the Bee's long after Cradley had demised if only occasionally & via Sky's coverage. Today is a sad day for British Speedway.
-
Probably to include King, who will turn up more than Fricke did last year. & Bates as a local improving rider.
-
There has been no dispute on the Leicester team since it was announced several weeks ago, I think my Math has confirmed Lebedevs is 7.00 and will start as the fifth averaging rider in the Lions team. With Gomolski on 7.11, Auty on 7.01, Riss on 6.85 his average can only with only 7.10 available where else can he fit? Lebedevs has only ever been a Wildcard if he has appeared in a GP or SEC Event and I don't believe he has ever ridden in a SWC final. How could he possibly be given an assessed average of anything above 7.00 which is what Lindback returned on last season?
