  1. Jonsson, Kennett, Lawson, Nicholls, Nilsson. How does that do average wise? Get Bridger to get a PL average (12 meetings?) then sub him in as an ELDR, Poole would do it. 2. Davey Watt=5.40 Good riddance to that tripe don't bring him back
  2. It has an international Airport, which is about 15 miles South of the city. Driving to the airport from the South is fine, beyond that it all turns awful.
  3. If Lindgren stays with Lokomotiv Daugavpils as he has been with for the past 2 years in the Polish 2nd Division I don't believe he would be affected by any such ruling. However I can see him giving the BEL a break to concentrate on GP's again.
  4. Have you ever driven to Manchester from the South of England? Obviously not, it is less than 60 miles from where I live yet it always takes at least 2, more often 3 hours. The M6 & M56 are absolutely useless.
  5. Zagar, Cooke, Worralls & Jacobs. Who else fits? I assume Jacobs is an ELDR, Worralls will come in on their PL average halved.
  6. Having been there this evening, then watched it again on Sky. I can understand Cooke's frustration, Stevie Worrall could have done to Woffinden what Lindgren did to him when Woffinden was on a T/R, but he didn't. I can't comprehend why the track wasn't watered after heat 7, cashing in my "Grand Opening" disaster ticket or a seat in the Grand stand I didn't realise how dusty the track got. I hindsight I suspect that Cooke would have chopped the nose off PK in the heat after the Woffinden TR. Congrats to the Wolves on Winning the BEL. Anyone but Poole. If the motorway agency stop making the M6 barely passable, 3 hours from Wolverhampton to Manchester, is absurd I would get a season ticket for the NSS.
  7. Could someone create a 'sticky' for Swedish Elitserien & Polish Ekstraliga team building?
  8. I wouldn't suggest Belle Vue don't take heat advantages if they have them half way down the back straight on lap 1, Woffinden & Lindgren rode very smart Monday, they didn't go all out trying to win heats when they had a heat advantage or a 3-3 in bag, after Belle Vue's disastrous heats 3 & 4. Ace's need to do the same Wednesday, if they can start with 3 5-1's take it just don't ride stupid trying to get a 5-1 when you have a 4-2.
  9. Ace's need to keep it tight until heat 10, then 5-1 Wolves 3 times in the following 3 heats. Hence no TR. Will be heading to Manchester about 15:30, parking and then getting food. Any suggestions appreciated.
  10. Just watched recording, out on a Monday night, Fricke & Richie Worrall hang your heads in shame, dreadful stuff. I didn't expect anymore from Zagar, typical Eastern European GP star at Monmore, gate & gone or nothing. The fact is that had Woffinden & Lindgren not spent most of the meeting team riding the advantage Wolves take to the NSS tomorrow could have been much more. Who said Nicholls was dynamite at Monmore? Fair play to Howarth his scores have for me been disappointing most of this year but he has come up with a few crucial rides when it mattered
  11. I haven't watched the first leg as yet, although I know the score, due to stupid Facebook. Still coming tomorrow for the 2nd leg. Anywhere nearby the NSS with decent food?
  12. Have team building rules for next years Elitserien been decided yet?
  13. If Lebedevs can get a regular Ekstraliga ride I'd be surprised.
  14. This years stats can be found here: http://www.svemo.se/sv/Grenar/Speedway/Elitserien2016/Rankinglista/ http://speedwayekstraliga.pl/statystyki/lista-klasyfikacyjna/lista-klasyfikacyjna-2016/ Fair play to Bartosz Zmarzlik for topping both. http://www.svemo.se/sv/Grenar/Speedway/Allsvenskan2016/Rankinglista/ http://sportowefakty.wp.pl/zuzel/i-liga/statystyki/2016
  15. I don't really think Lindgren had much choice as Lindback was roaring inside him, he just took avoiding action. I doubt most riders have any kind of relationship off track. They can ride with each other Monday in Britain, against each other Tuesday in Sweden, together in Britain on Thursday, against each other in FIM events Saturday and with each other Sunday in Poland. Only the Monster Energy sponsored riders (& Doyle) and the Polish riders seem to have any empathy for each other off track.
  16. Just watched this after Facebook doing that annoying live thing they have started doing spoiled the fact I knew Zmarzlik & Hancock made the final. Entire evening soured by the fact that the rider that most deserves to be World Champion this year probably won't be due to injury. And I'm not Doyle fan. Lindgren was at fault for the crash not Harris. Glad Iversen won. He's been my favourite GP rider in recent years, that should mean he will get a spot next year. Another good night for Zagar. Are they relying on a Wild Card or can both overhaul the atrocious Janowski & Lindback in Australia? I used to be of the opinion that the older riders started the season in better form than the youngsters but the youngsters come good at the end. This year is different with Zagar & Iversen finally coming to the party as Janowski fades. If they do overhaul him in Australia I will be surprised if Janowski get a Permanent Wild Card spot. Hampel surely deserves a spot after his year out with injury. Zmarzlik, Dudek & Pawlicki are in. For sure. Do the GP's need another Pole in Janowski who was overtaken by the pretty useless Harris this evening? May open the door for another Dane. Pedersen, I hope not Bjerre. MJJ was god tonight. Or will it save Lindback who has been useless since the SWC. Can Woffinden hold off Zmarzlik & Holder for bronze? Or Silver, if Doyle can't ride.
  17. How many points do you think Nicholls can take off Woffinden & Lindgren? There's 25 points at last for Wolves without considering PK, Masters & Thorsell who are no slouches. I doubt Zagar would list Monmore as one of the tracks he enjoys visiting.
  18. Have exchange our tickets for the Grand Opening for seats in the Grandstand for the 2nd leg of the play-off's at the NSS. Never actually managed to speak to someone in the ticket office but they reply quick enough to emails. Obviously hoping and expecting the Aces to keep it interesting in the first leg now. I guess the Cinema opposite will stop people parking again like at the World Cup, so parking suggestions appreciated.
  19. Clearly Poole are rubbish at Monmore when the home team prepare the track to their advantage as they should. Kurtz was barely able to complete a lap. What a rider.
  20. I hope no Swedish team sign Janowski next year, that was a pathetic showing. Congrats to Rospiggarna winning in style.
  21. He stopped when he was last a GP rider, maybe he'll give Sweden a miss if he hasn't been paid by Indianerna as reported. Have you ever seen a rider who locked up in front of another rider who laid his bike down to avoid excluded. I haven't. The theory in refs heads is that the following rider can avoid going outside or inside regardless of track conditions (I am not saying it is correct). If riders were excluded for locking up mid turn Ben Barker, James Wright, even Billy Hamill & a young Tony Rickarsson would have never had a career. Admittedly it is more difficult at Monmore due to its size than at other tracks. But the constraints of the track should not influence a referees decision. Why couldn't Ellis go outside or inside a maroon PK, lack of skill & bike control? Belle Vue do not have a massive home advantage, it is the least 'British' of tracks in Britain. Nicholls was better at Purfleet in the Semi, than at the NSS. Unless Zagar is at the party I can see Lindgren & Woffiden scoring paid maxes there. Wolves have the bigger hitters in the final. Really? In the only year they didn't win in recent years. Team this year was Dudek, Kasprzak, Pawlicki & Zmarzlick.
  22. Congrats to Wolves, pathetic showing from Buczkowski & Kurtz. People say the Howarth win in heat 12 was crucial, I think it may have been more of a case that Ellis & Newman were knackered. Howarth has been a disappointment for me this year. Clegg was poor tonight, as was PK after heat 1. I said on Monday if Wolves make the inside grippy they'll win easy because not one of the Poole riders will go near it. And that's what happened early heats and how the 12 points disappeared. The Eliis exclusion was harsh, but I have only once seen the rider locking up in front but staying on excluded when the rider behind him has to take avoiding action. That was Rempala & Richardson in the SWC at Poole in 2004? Had Ellis hit PK, then I'd expect PK to be excluded so the ref made the only decision he could. If Tungate didn't get excluded in heat 15 then Holder should have as he caused Tungate to fall. If cold have been all 4 back, unsatisfactory start but neither Holder nor Tungate were going to beat Lindgren this evening so no real argument. Interesting team building for Wolves this winter, Woffinden won't do a full season, I suspect Lindgren won't either now his GP spot is confirmed. Although it maybe made easier if all teams except Poole are only allowed 6 riders, which is highly likely
