  1. In shock quote frankly, awful team considering what CVS & Adams should have signed. Clegg should have been the best #7 in league next year, but no, he is not going to be the best #6... Wolves were had on a plate the most average efficient #1 in Lindgren on 10.09 or whatever his average is. The Skornicki signing I can understand on that average in this league. But not with the what they had previously signed. Happy 5th Place for the Dogs.
  2. Zmarzlik Doyle Woffinden Holder Hancock Sayfutinov Iversen Pawlicki Dudek Lindback Vaculik Lindgren Pedersen Zagar Janowski
  3. Chris Holder Nicklas Porsing Troy Batchelor Lewis Rose Robert Lambert Kai Huckenbeck We are assuming that Simon Lambert will be in other rider, without checking averages if he fits? Have seen very little Porsing & Rose, I guess the hope is they can hold their own as second strings. Huckenbeck & S Lambert (if signed & fits) should be decent reserve duo, much better than most teams have. The hope must be that Holder isn't in average reduction mode, R Lambert steps ups to the next level he has been promising & Batchelor returns to form. I think I'd take that 1-7 over most named currently.
  4. Not really, Wolves had already screwed up. Unfortunately predictable after the first four signings, must be depressing for you Monmore Speedway fans really. You could have denied Poole yet another league title, but you chose cheap, I hope Kings Lynn don't.
  5. Hopefully enough to attain an average of just below 3.99 so you cut-throats can;t replace him with some Pole!
  6. That Robson will improve more than Batchelor will? Err, no. If Batchelor can gate & go he will do fine, Robson has never gated and is starting average is higher. I would still however rather have Robson as the 5th averaging rider in my team than Batchelor as a heat leading 3rd averaging rider in my team. I had to take a break from the forum, it was doing my head in. If I have missed signings I apologise I am assuming Batchelor will be behind R. Lambert & C. Holder in the KL line up. With Huckenbeck, Porsing & S. Lambert??
  7. The Wolves team is better than the Swindon team, hands down. It is still rubbish compared to what Wolves should have signed.
  8. None of the establish promotions have yet to sign Fricke or Bewley, and except for Kings Lynn most have already shown their hand, and they seem to be inclined in reducing Holders average so the cut throats benefit in 2018. I suspect both will be on the cards for the BSPAces@NSSManchester Cooke ... Worrall Worrall Fricke Bewley ...
  9. So how do people feel about a team of... Tungate Wright Hougaard Starke Grajczonek Allen Graveson To me it looks like a team that will have few 0's on the scorecard, but towards the end of meetings will find it difficult to get heat advantages. I don't know much about any of these riders since I haven't attended a meeting that wasn't a GP, SWC or at Brandon, Poole or the NSS for a few years. I have watched every meeting available on TV tough. I don't think there is much improvement in Hougaard or Grajczonek but both are experienced enough to hold their own. I don't see Wright or Graveson being match winners either, but again they should hold be solid. Tungate & Allen, need to have a good year if the Rebels are to make the play-offs.
  10. Please stop including Zagar in plans, BV couldn't afford him last year. With massive debts it would be a mistake in 2017, he wasn't exactly the dominant #1 he should be anyway.
  11. That Somerset team will do OK, they should be good at home. They have a chance of winning away at Belle Vue & Swndon, they wont get pulverised at Poole or Coventry, where some teams will. They will get pulverised at Rye House & Wolves, if CVS picks the right team. At Saddlebow Rd, I'm not sure.
  12. According to Twitter you are getting C Holder in average reduction mode. Please don't.
  13. No. We need to mock your club further for not winning the first ever Premiership. Sorry.
  14. Bates was a good signing, should improve. King is a solid heat leader. K Bjerre is iffy he could be a bargain on that average, and has the potential to be good #1, but confidence rider L Bjerre could be a bonus Don't know much about Kerr, been and OK ELD rider from what I have seen. Garrity as a heat leader I have no doubts about is potential, its his mentality that worries me. Sarjeant. OMG WTF have the Bee's signed a rider that should be excluded twice a meeting for jumping the start?
  15. Coventry won't make the play off with the announced team, it is pretty awful. Are you expecting K Bjerre to become a world beater?
  16. That won't fit 50 points! 1.39 over the limit, sorry. Replace Bewley with a 2 pointer and it works.
  17. That team is solid enough, I'd take it over what Coventry have mustered in team building terms. Need to be a fair few points in front by the time heat 12 kicks in, to win a meeting though. It will struggle in 13 & 15.
  18. Yep. Klindt will score big points from reserve, until he overtakes Newman, Holder or Kurtz in the 1-5 in the averages, at which point the cut throats will ditch him, for a more capable rider on a lower average. Expect Poole to visit Swindon, Leicester, Belle Vue early next year. I still cannot comprehend why Wolves haven't signed Klindt, or why Klindt would join Poole over Wolves, knowing he'll get dumped after 8 matches if he joins Poole.
  19. Believe AJ has signed with a Danish club, along with his Swedish & Polish clubs that rules him out. Do you really want Holder reducing his average so he can return to Poole next year 2.5 pts lighter?
  20. Justification for this reduction is what? It is clear that you are delirious. Hancock is 4 years older than Skornicki but about 15 times a more capable rider. Howarth was obviously signed as a required second Brit, along with Clegg. If you'd signed Harris over Thorsell you wouldn't have signed Howarth. He is hopeless around Monmore. Manzarez would be a risk worth taking. I've watched enough of Adam Skornicki at Monmore that I don't feel the need to watch it again. Soft touch. Harris would earn his pension fund at Wolves, no doubt. If Wolves wanted to dominate the league they would have offered Klindt the same money Poole did.
  21. The last average I can find searching the history section of the BSPA website is from 2014 when Skornicki averaged 6.14 which should be subject to a 1.4 increase. Lindgren 10.09 Masters 8.98 Howarth 7.18 Thorsell 9.88 Skornicki 8.60 Clegg 4.34 0.934 No riders available for 0.934, lowest average is 2.00 Do tell how you are going to get away with this, it is Poole-esque. Yet that team is still rubbish compared to what Wolves should be fielding next year. Assume for some ridiculous reason that Skornicki is on 5.00. I fail to see why a Pole should be reassessed when he hasn't ridden for a few years, but I can't contemplate how Swindon have signed a new Dane on a silly average either considering the watering down. If a Pole or Swede has top flight experience in their countries league they should be 7.00 at least, a Dane I'd let off on a 6.00 if they haven't ridden outside their country. Still I fail to see how... Lindgren 10.09 Skornicki 5.00 Masters 8.98 Howarth 7.18 Thorsell 9.88 Clegg 4.34 A Rider 4.53 Is anywhere near the team Wolves should have selected Lindgren 10.09 Manzarez 5.43 Harris 9.21 Musielak 6.34, I am open to offers on improvong this selection only... Masters 8.98 Clegg 4.34 Klindt 5.42 Skornicki should be on 8.6. Last relevant EL average * 1.4 Even better, when did CVS last convince the BSPA to reduce the average of a recently injured rider, from 7+ to something allot less. Ales Dryml. And Wolves ended up recalling a rider most Wolves fans despised in Jesper B Monberg so they didn't lose the previous relegation play-off. If Skornicki is 5.00, the team selection becomes even more ridiculous.
  22. Team solid but unspectacular, home wins the key for the Rebels. Suspect that sorted.
  23. Brilliant stuff, a once mildly useful second string comes of of retirement, Lets give him a GP Spot. Lindgren was a teenager in 2004 and has qualified for next years GP's. Skornikci is older than me, post something relevant. How did the last time you signed an ageing rider who hadn't ridden for a few years, work out with Ronnie Correy in 2005, did Wolves make the playoffs that year?
  24. Rebels complete Rohan Tungate 9.03 Charles Wright 6.59 Paul Starke 6.62 Patrick Hougaard 8.70 Josh Grajczonek 8.90 Jake Allen 5.96 Jan Graversen 3.83
