  1. If he is that expensive then I would agree. You would need Cook or Fricke to be able to beat the best riders in the world - well Doyle, Lindgren, Holder & Iversen when it mattered. Do you think they are capable. Or do you just go strength in depth.
  2. Ellis has kinda ridden too well, without having a PL side to get a place for next season coming in on a 5.7ish average. Which is fairly ridiculous. It would take an statistician with commitment to remove the the heat 2 scores from the averages of Bates, Howarth, Ellis, Newman, the Woralls et al. But I think that would be the fairest way to do it. By heat 12 if they are going to score points then they should. I mean have Kennett, Lawson, Bridger been at reserve for the odd fixture?
  3. As long as it is one rule for all that is fine. One could argue that Richie Worrall despite not being a EDR this season spent longer at reserve than Newman, his brother and a few other riders (Howarth springs to mind) this year such was the form of his brother why should he not also come in his PL average re-assessed also?
  4. But the continental riders don't. That format could be extended to have a home/away fixture between the teams in the different regions. That would be 16 home/away fixtures.
  5. Dackarna Ljung 1.656 Janowski 1.532 Dudek 2.099 Points limit remaining 4.96 Elit Vetlanda Vaculik 1.746 Zmarzlik 2.250 Jonasson 0.980 Berntzon 0.979 4.30 Eskilstuna Smederna Przedpelski 1.460 Stark 0.500 Jepson Jensen 1.565 Points limit remaining 6.73 Indianerna Lindgren 1.814 Points limit remaining 8.44 Lejonen Drabik 1.638 Masters 1.280 Holder 1.794 Points limit remaining 5.54 Masarna Woffinden 1.944 Lindback 2.011 Andersson 0.723 Sundstrom 1.433 Points limit remaining 4.14 Piraterna Sayfutdinov 1.867 Points limit remaining 8.38 Rospiggarna Doyle 2.063 Fricke 1.707 Points limit remaining 6.48
  6. Hasn't ridden in the UK since 2010 I believe, surely would have to be re-assessed.
  7. If you regionalise it, then each club riders each other clubs in their region twice home & twice away, that gives each club 10 home league fixtures. With shorter travelling distance (admittedly Ipswich or Kings Lynn to Somerset is still a heck of a journey) there is more chance that fans can travel away on a week night. Leaving the playoffs winner North v/s runner up South and vice-versa. If clubs are then guaranteed to face clubs from the opposite region in a re-introduced KO Cup competition it would make this more interesting. I'm not saying it is perfect, I'm just trying to find a possible solution to the problem.
  8. With no idea of points limit, the conference will invoke. Matej Zagar 7.48 Steve Worrall 8.98/2 = 4.49 Chris Harris 6.62 Anyone. Freddie Lindgren 7.2 Kyle Newman 6.61/2 = 3.30 Max Claegg 3.00
  9. With no idea of points limit, the conference will invoke. Matej Zagar 7.48 Steve Worrall 8.98/2 = 4.49 Chris Harris 6.62 Anyone. Freddie Lindgren 7.2 Kyle Newman 6.61/2 = 3.30 Max Claegg 3.00
  10. I would love to see. EL North Belle Vue Sheffield Wolverhampton Coventry Leicester Birmingham EL South Poole Kings Lynn Swindon Lakesdie Ipswich Somerset
  11. I think Leicester were spoiled having Doyle as #1 for their first two years, without any assets. Next year will be fun looking at averages. Lakeside & Swindon need to drop a few riders, bizarrely higher ranked teams don't.
  12. Not on 7.8 average you;d be crazy to not take him.
  13. Fairly sure Ellis is screwed as far as an EL spot goes since no PL team gave him a spot this year. No EL team will take him on a 5.5 average.
  14. AFAIK Monmore Green is owned by Ladbrooks. I thought the council owned Poole Stadium. Don't know on the others.
  15. This question is do both Worrall's come in on half their converted PL average as both have spent time in the reserve berth or just Steve because he was the EDR?
  16. What do - Harris, Masters, Thorsell, Musielak, Clegg (ELD) come to?
  17. Jonsson, Kennett, Lawson, Nicholls, Nilsson. How does that do average wise? Get Bridger to get a PL average (12 meetings?) then sub him in as an ELDR, Poole would do it. 2. Davey Watt=5.40 Good riddance to that tripe don't bring him back
  18. It has an international Airport, which is about 15 miles South of the city. Driving to the airport from the South is fine, beyond that it all turns awful.
  19. If Lindgren stays with Lokomotiv Daugavpils as he has been with for the past 2 years in the Polish 2nd Division I don't believe he would be affected by any such ruling. However I can see him giving the BEL a break to concentrate on GP's again.
  20. Have you ever driven to Manchester from the South of England? Obviously not, it is less than 60 miles from where I live yet it always takes at least 2, more often 3 hours. The M6 & M56 are absolutely useless.
  21. Zagar, Cooke, Worralls & Jacobs. Who else fits? I assume Jacobs is an ELDR, Worralls will come in on their PL average halved.
