  1. Kurtz is due to be riding for Lodz at Bydgoszcz on Sunday.
  2. Came out of retirement earlier this week to ride for Masarna.
  3. Replacement can't be NKI. Riding in Poland & I assume Denmark, Polish clubs are restricting their riders to one other league.... Unless something has changed. Milik or Lebedevs? Not seen Milik on polish scorecards. Lebedevs is riding in Poland. Musielak only other possibility I can think of.
  4. Humiliation for Kings Lynn, nothing else.
  5. Good win for Witches, Howarth & Ellis save Tiger blushes. Would Holder's presence have changed the result? Unlikely I feel.
  6. Did you expect that septet to be competitive when announced compared to the others?
  7. Surprised FZG are behind Grudziadz in league table - hadn't realised they'd been that poor. If I'm honest I'd rather Grudziadz & Torun stay in Ekstraliga over FZG. Czestochowa will need so e big results to go their way to make the playoffs. Starting with Leszno winning in Lublin this weekend.
  8. Not watching, it but he's often looked capable of mixing it if he's in contention after the first bend. My favourite Ekstraliga reserve last year, it's a shame for him Czestochowa have 2 other good juniors.
  9. Looks like a fortunate start to Brummies campaign but doubt Etheridge injury cost the Bandits the win, 12 points is allot to ask from a middle order rider with an average of >7.00. I haven't read the thread until results were in, why the absence of Brummies two Germans? How did that impact the score? Suspect the 8 points from 4 Nicholls scored is on a par with what Berwick regulars would expect from Riss? Nicol probably did better than the rider he replaced. Doubt such a big track would suit either guest, but could be wrong. The big bonus Brummies wise are the points scored by Shanes, Thomas on debut and in particular Morris on his first (competitive) action in almost 2 years.
  10. I've just seen Musielak is top of div 1 averages. Sure he'd be a better option than some of the misfiring Ekstraliga Polish seniors.
  11. But it is not a straight choice between them since Klindt isn't Polish. Mesiac is only riding for Grudziadz as Kasprzak has been awful. If fit (no idea if he's riding this year) I'm surprised no Ekstraliga team has given Musielak a chance.
  12. Surprised Pedersen took that heat 8 move by Doyle on then chin, thought he'd be spitting feathers. Think if Sayfutdinov or Kolodziej had stuck to one line instead of keep swapping and getting in others way one or both would have passed Pawlicki in heat 9.
  13. Watching Grudziadz meeting, allot of riders seem to be getting in to trouble going wide on turn 2.
  14. They certainly won't be the top two! Think Ipswich are better than Dad's army at Peterborough & Wolves. Who was Ostergaard guesting for?
  15. Ok meeting (maybe spoiled by Torun & Grudziadz at weekend), took a little while to get going as did all the riders except Holder who was quick from the start. IMO these two teams are easily the two to beat In the Premiership this year. Think most riders will be satisfied with their evenings, except: Batchelor poor, no real excuse he's been good at NSS in past. In general experienced riders start the season well, easily the most experienced rider on show. S Worrall. Poor, slow, never in contention. Kurtz. Can he perform when pressure is on? No pressure and he looks phenomenal. Not sure I'd want a #1 with such attributes.
  16. Absolute tosh. If the rider in front stuck to the curb, there was no way through.
  17. Wroclaw track was rubbish, zilch around the outside. If the rider in front stuck to the inside those following could do nothing. Only when a rider drifted off the inside was there any chance to pass. Gorzow were poor. Torun & Grudziadz meetings were much better. I'll try & find Leszno match on YouTube tomorrow but couldn't find it this morning. But frankly the visit of FZG hardly wets the appetite.
