  1. What Rico has said is very true. Both are good although the racing is very good at Bydgoszcz, generally. It is easier to get to Wroclaw but Bydgoszcz will change once the direct flights come into place. The chances of getting a hotel in Wroclaw nearer the time is easier. Bydgoszsz has a track nearer nearer to the hotels but there is a tram that goes to the Wroclaw track which can get rather busy after the meeting but taxis are cheap. The centre of Wroclaw is very pretty where you can relax in safety after the meeting outside. Saying that Bydgoszcz is still pretty with a river and nice areas. If it was down to toilet facilities my choice would be Wroclaw, terrible facilities at Bydgoszcz.
  2. Never mind about the beer, Kev. What about the beautiful architecture and company And the great racing.
  3. Good date for Prague next year If I have any chance of going to a GP it would be during the school holidays and Prague is nice and cheap. Wondering if that date is past the rainy season though.
  4. 0535hrs actually, Kev Welcome to the forum Rema and Ben. What does it say on your ticket in Danish?
  5. Same here, LW. I am going in the garden to eat worms
  6. Isn't Backtrack and Vintage Speedway magazines speedway history mags? Not a very good idea having too many. Surely more people would be interested in magazines with just statistics in them. Not my cup of tea but I know at least one bloke who would be racing to the newsagent to buy it
  7. So far there are 2 of each Poles, Danes and Brits. So its going to be Pepe, Hans Andersen and Mark Loram I know there's only 2 Aussies but there is no room for another one
  8. Really impressed with H + J, LW. I had to flap my arms up and down to even get on the computer in order to change the booking. Then when I did, someone kept interupting me on MSN The tickets seem really expensive for next year. They are not going to get that stadium full with them prices
  9. I was on the floor Bandits4eva, too much excitement and then shock and phoning a certain forum member who was watching the same programme anyway All is sorted now
  10. TB, I think Kevin had his mind on other things to miss the fact it was a Pairs Final and not Fours Tickets are going on sale for the British GP tomorrow night just when we're all either at Coventry or jumping up and down excitedly on the couch watching it
  11. Have a great time Crazysue Wish I was going. Having a few forum members around, well one with 2 legs and one with four (one man and his dog if you like) Probably make him suffer my chilli again, Pedigree chum for the dog
  12. Hope it's 10th June cos I have booked my Cardiff hotel for then. Its my 21st birthday the day before also
  13. Now I understand Gemini. My white helmet explainer has just told me you have another dog
  14. How can 33,000 be a sparse crowd? I will certainly be back there if the GP goes back to OZ. Hopefully Pawprint will join me again. Are you coming as well Tigerblade?
  15. All credit to the track staff for getting the meeting on and actually making it look dry but I am sure Tomas Gollob would disagree after landing in a mud puddle. What the Sky viewers missed out on was standing on a slippery bank at 45 degrees in the rain and having to share a hood with another forum member. Another drawback was queueing for half an hour for the toilet. Having said that wouldn't have missed it for the world and Congratulations to Hans Andersen, Tomas Gollob, Antonio Lindback, Andreas Jonsson for producing first class entertainment. Also special mention to Jonas Davidsson for probably the best meeting of his career. Was a little disappointed in the end result. Thought Andreas deserved his first GP win but well done to Jason (not that it matters now anyway).
  16. History will be made tomorrow when (probably) Tony wins tomorrow night. Looks like its going to be a good night for the Swedes.
  17. With the performance of Poland last night, I think they will win easily. But I will be supporting the Brits even though I will have my Scottish flag and will be with a Frenchman
  18. Wash your mouth out Shaz, I'd never have an England flag
  19. Well done Team GB for their performance last night. Must have as good a chance as any of the other teams of winning on Saturday. Simon Stead was just brilliant, a No 1 for Britain in the near future and as for Lee, how did he finish on so many points ? Can't wait until Saturday now. Noticed how many England flags were there. Now do I take my GB flag or Scottish one?
  20. Me too, Mr Snackette. You're not Hans in disguise, are you ?
  21. Hows your knee caps Kevin ? Anyone that is going to Swindon the weather looks very good. No rain. Just a pity I am working nights so will have to watch it half asleep on Monday morning
  22. Does that mean that you are also on the TP tour Mr Snackette?
