What you say might be valid and more of a case these days especially but we have to factor in the highlighted bit in terms of stage of his career. Whichever it is, it's not good for club business and needs sorting unless it improves very quickly; and that starts in the Premiership on Monday!

Same problem as the last few years. Struggles too often from the gate, over 30 yards and gets beat up on the first turn. Time waits for nobody and this isn't the barnstorming Andersen that Panthers once knew. He may have been testing equipment or something and there could be improvement in there somewhere from tonight but the decline is only going one way IMO.

All going well in Buster's Pantherland then? As Blackadder said " Well it started badly, it tailed off a little in the middle & the less said about the end the better ... "

Because we need to win away as well.

Yet another cracking thought provoking post from Scrutton. A bite on a Thursday, good effort

And bearing in mind that first night is one of the best crowds of the season as supporters old and new test the ground then this fell well short both on and off track, and complete entertainment package it certainly wasn't. I don't think that we'll be seeing this too often, Chapman said: “We had a good crowd and I’m pleased about that. Fortunately visiting fans might swell the future numbers to give some comfort but that will probably mask the underlying damage being done. My take was that it started well pre-meeting with PA at nice level without bloody irritatingly loud pit interviews booming out, then the Peas played as a welcome bikes at the start introduction returned. After that is was all downhill with a team, on first look, I wouldn't particularly cross the road to watch, 15 heats of basically, gate, 1st turn and fill in your programme and a distincly flat atmosphere, not uncommon over the last few years, especially since airhorns went AWOL. Is that a bit too much after one meeting

Peterborough v Belle Vue PSC - Mon 1st April

First night of any season is usually decent but will they return based on that is another matter. Irrespective of cobwebs, relatively meaningless fixture if they want to use that as an excuse, and Belle Vue blowing off their cobwebs somewhat on Saturday, it was poor from the home side which looks distinctly average now and you wouldn't put a fiver on any of them to win a race that mattered against Fricke, Bjerre etc when they turn up during the season. Tungate was better than I expected though and I think that he can hopefully kick on during the season. Anyone turning up to see Andersen from memory will have seen that he is a pale shadow of the once barnstorming hero of the past although he did nearly wipe himself and someone else out on turns 3 and 4. Not sure whether that was by luck or judgement that he didn't -

You'd have thought for the first meeting they'd offer more and not less because often that's the best crowd of the season. If newbies get the impression of that being what it's alwayslike then they may think twice about returning. Bonus for the regulars though is that we should be on our way by 9.30 although if it's anything like Buster's Kings Lynn then the neighbours will be reminding us of the 10pm curfew, it it exists that is. -
The true situation is that normally at this time of year this thread (or indeed the absent match thread, which no doubt Dick will now start after being alerted ) would be buzzing with expectation of fans, old (where have all the regular contributors gone - even Tel has lost interest so that's a concern, hope the old boy is still well!), and some new. What's been apparent to me is that following on from the positivity of Dec 20 when the Rathbone team was announced it has been an organisational shambles right up to P&P, which I heard was fairly well attended to be fair. I'll be there tonight but can't say that I'm looking forward to it but that's more to do with the state of the sport generally in the country rather than our own internal problems at the EoES.

I'm sure that he could appeal to the SCB and get his money back.

Unfortunately on the very same day that season ticket details were announced (Thursday December 20, 2018) there was also a news item saying: PANTHERS 2019 (Team subject to normal BSPA approval): Chris Harris, Hans Andersen (c), Craig Cook, Bradley Wilson-Dean, Charles Wright, Lasse Bjerre, Ben Barker. So no it doesn't guarantee but you'd expect that to be what you paid for unless there is a good clear reason why not.
-
It'd be hard to find a more supportive fan at the EoES than Stilts so if that's how he feels then we really are in a mess.
-
Yup. My mate is a season ticket holder for both. I suspect that he'll choose Posh, and as I'm happy with either then I suspect that my pennies will be spent at London Road. It's still not officially confirmed anywhere so I wouldn't yet say that this clash will not be avoided.
-
As per usual, the website will catch up at some point. Given that football and speedway clash in that case you'd have thought that the priority would have been to get the message out to the majority. An add on to today's P&P new item would have been easy enough.
-
As none of 3 fixture lists say it is then nothing has changed at the moment anyway.
-
Over to you Rodders - did you hear that one? I think that my mate went and he's asked whether I'm interested in both so it didn't reach him if he did go.
-
What's the source for that? Neither club website or the BSPA site give a time.
-
Why strange? They obviously didn't like it if that's the case and you don't say what you said so I'm missing the point tbh.
-
No. But the fixtures page has covered that just in case: "Peterborough midweek home meetings start 7.30pm - Sundays 5.00pm (unless otherwise stated)."
-
If you quote the posts then we'll tell you.
-
Doesn't really need any work apart from a bit of Frost style tractor racing (tedious I know but probably a necessity) during the meeting. Over the last few seasons we've had an alleged camber introduced and the track smoothed with surgical precision, neither helped particularly IMO, when all it needed was a regular consistent layer of shale.

Good to see the new PR department doing some work.

That you needed to ask.

Do keep up. It happens, as the Readypower logo on your picture shows.

Don't you just love citing rumours but then not saying what they are.
