  1. A passport is what I've used to pick up tickets in Leszno (via e-ticket.pl also) so I wouldn't foresee a problem. Once you actually purchase the tickets they will confirm instructions on how to collect the tickets. Last years Leszno ticket confirmation included the following "While picking up the tickets, please show the identity card of the person who made the booking and the booking number." So as long as you book them in your name, although paying for them with your father's card all will be dandy. Rico
  2. Thanks for the reply Haggis. Got the Star today, so all systems go. My little 'un is wondering if the motorcycling 'stunt' man will be there again this year ? He was fantastic. Rico
  3. What are the entry arrangements for the event this year ? Been the last 2 years and thoroughly enjoyed the day. Thanks in advance. Rico
  4. We're just back from Gorzow and the whole experience there was good, however (not for the reasons noted by Mr Snackette) our group have already pretty much decided to give Gorzow a miss next year. Poznan is only hosting 3 matches (assuming Ukraine finish their stadia), which are being held on 10th, 14th and 18th June, so with the GP on the 23rd I'd have thought the Poznan frenzy would have calmed a little, though doubtless there will still be a deal of profiteering going on. This year, our group met up in Berlin, spent some time there, before getting the train through to Gorzow on the Saturday (about £6.50 single). Post GP, we arranged a minibus to take us to Poznan as we were going to the U21s in Gniezno on the Sunday. Probably the cheapest and one of the most enjoyable 4 day GP trip we've done in a while, flights to Berlin from LHR on BA at about £100 (one of our group got Ryanair flights from Stansted for around £50 return), accomodation for 4 nights coming in at around £80 pp and another £40 or so in transportation. A couple of quid for and tucker and a grand weekend was had by all. I certainly wouldn't put anyone off going to Gorzow for the speedway, but I'm not sure I'd ever rush to stay the night in the City. It definitely needs a little TLC. Cirying shame that the sun-kissed tourist friendly Torun in August won't happen next year and has been tucked away to Octobe. Rico

  8. Have to say I disagree with your "Cov need to bite their tongue with the brothers a bit". That would be letting the tail wag the dog. Pawlicki's are exceptional talents, but you have to ask why are they both riding in the Polish 2nd Division this season ? Rico
  9. I wouldn't worry Pantherfan, the strike sounds like it's only going to affect local services. You should be fine getting from Poznan to Torun. I'm sure Mateusz will post details once information is confirmed. Rico

  12. That's a fair old hike Mama - one for the speedway addict. Rico
  13. It's the World U21 round in Holsted on Sunday 28th, hence lack of action. Rico

  17. Two good derby matches on the box where the atmosphere should be red-hot. Will be interesting to see how Falubaz cope with the sad absence of Dobrucki. Also, will the first/second bend stand be re-opened for this match ? Rico
  18. #4 Rune Holta 8 #7 Kenneth Bjerre 8 #9 Andreas Jonsson 8 #11 Fredrik Lindgren 8 Rico
  19. I'd include Musielak in that and also comment how poor Batchelor was. Fingers crossed JK and Jarek can get going and give the home team some competition. Rico
  20. I thought Kasprzak's body language on the bike didn't look as if he was particularly busting a gut in 14, unlike Vaculik who was giving it everything in 15 for no reward. Rico
  21. There are no league fixtures scheduled for the Torun GP weekend unfortunately. Rico
  22. And now according to sportowefakty the Leszno GP is under threat from legal action http://www.sportowefakty.pl/zuzel/2011/04/19/slak-zlozyl-donos-gp-w-lesznie-zagrozone/ Whatever! I'll be just up the road in Poznan if they decide to let it go ahead. I'm past worrying about speedway and I'll enjoy the long weekend regardless. Rico
  23. Hi Dean, Sorry I have only just seen this. Our plan for the Sunday is to head west to Zielona Gora for their match, so sadly no. I'm sure we'll catch up for a pint or 2 on the Saturday. Rico
