I supported the Dons from 1958 until their closure. The demolition of this iconic venue is the saddest day in my long speedway life.

As far as I'm aware, Mildenhall open their home season on the 1st April, with the Armo Testimonial taking place on the 22 April at 2.00pm.

Completely agree. Although a resident of Norfolk, I will support the venture as often as I'm able.

I believe Mildenhall are opening on Easter Sunday, and as teaboy279 says, Kent are at home against Eastbourne on Good Friday, and then they face Birmingham at Central Park on Easter Monday.

I've just heard that yesterdays meeting was Cancelled.

I thought you were talking about his place of birth rather than where he lives now, of which you are right of course.

I do believe he was born in Ipswich, which of course is Suffolk and not Norfolk.

Looking forward to some Sunday afternoon trips to watch the 'Bees' in action when Mildenhall don't have a home meeting. Fingers crossed that all Coventry fans support this venture.

Has there been any mention of speeding things up, and getting through meetings in around 90-minutes, which is what fans have been SHOUTING for, or is that being ignored once again? Please King's Lynn, don't stage a home meeting on Wednesday 25th July, as that's the date of the Sandringham Flower Show, which makes travelling from this part of Norfolk nigh impossible.

Certainly when there are no clashes with Mildenhall home meetings, I make the journey to support the venture. Any meetings at Leicester midweek are totally out of the question for me, so to visit the track on a Sunday would be just perfect.

Not all miracles are possible.

Oh dear, so will I be. I hope they don't nip down to the pool and put towels on all the sun loungers before dawn breaks.
