  1. That is an interesting post, and after comparing the averages from the "Complete History" book with the averages in that years "British Speedway Handbook", it seems you are correct. So deos anyone have the riders' rides, scores and bonus points from all the 1965 KO Cup meetings, so I can update my records please? These are the meetings concerned;- Round 1 Long Eaton v Halifax (4th May 1965) Edinburgh v Hackney (8th May 1965) Round 2 Exeter v Belle Vue (28th June 1965) Newcastle v Swindon (28th June 1965) West Ham v Newport (29th June 1965) Long Eaton v Coventry (29th June 1965) Glasgow v Sheffield (2nd July 1965) Oxford v Wimbledon (8th July 1965) Poole v Edinburgh (14th July 1965) Cradley Heath v Wolverhampton (24th July 1965) Round 3 West Ham v Wimbledon (3rd August 1965) Exeter v Long Eaton (9th August 1965) Poole v Wolverhampton (11th August 1965) Glasgow v Swindon (13th August 1965) Replay Wimbledon v West Ham (14th August 1965) Semi Finals Exeter v Wolverhampton (6th September 1965) Glasgow v West Ham (10th September 1965) Final West Ham v Exeter (5th October 1965) Exeter v West Ham (11th October 1965) A big ask I know, but any help would be most appreciated.
  2. I agree, there was a stated intention to expand the Ekstraliga in 2007, but there has been no recent announcement - is it still on the agenda?
  3. That's an interesting fact - maybe they should change their name to Glasgow Magpies.
  4. So Scott and Chris have got the vote, any ideas who the other two may be?
  5. Actually, I wouldn't. Not as much as you last night.
  6. My money says Sube won't be that person!!! Don't let that phase you mate - you have an opinion, and you are perfectly entitled to voice it!!! Have Coventry made Mr Nicholls avaiable for ttransfer then? In GP terms, quite simply yes. And nobody can argue with that................ surely?
  7. Never before, in all my years on this forum have I witnessed a post from the witch woman that wasn't 100% nice - trust me to change all that. Take note bsf, LW is bad, and she's kicking bottom.
  8. I believe Jesper B and Zorro may also be involved in this meeting - see you there LW.
  9. Help yourself folks - another ready made signature.
  10. Really sorry to hear that ML, Bydgoszcz would have been a far better place if you'd been there. Every cloud has a silver lining though and it may make you feel a little better if you consider these two things:- 1. IrnBru is difficult to get hold of in Poland. 2. Someone else will have to keep an eye on Pammie. Seriously, you take good care of yourself mate and we hope to catch up with you again before too long - and thanks for the mention, it's lovely and appreciated. K&J
  11. If the rumours are proven to be correct Matthew, you won't be in any fit state to go ANYWHERE anyway.
  12. When have you known me to be rude have you never had a didgy sausage F4E? Only you could think of something like that.
  13. Yeah, those sausages were a bit didgy weren't they.
  14. Are you settling the bar bill too then Mr Snackette
  15. Well if you play your cards right, we might be able to have that quiet chat over a beer before Bydgoszcz.
  16. I was shocked to hear this news on Sky. I've seen Toni many times and he was as entertaining as they come. A sad loss and my sympathies go out to his family and friends.
  17. Does anyone know the riding order for this meeting please?
  18. Pepe isn't in the team. SportoweFakty are now saying Greg Walasek is in the team I think - can't be sure, but it looks like it.
  19. The plot thickens. Now, if by some coincidence I should bump into you on Sunday (no, not in the toilet you just know I'll be interogating you.
