Jamie often uses the hose pipe on the starting gates when he is preparing the track immediately before the meeting.

Should add, he was a dairy farmer but he went to a nearby pig farmer for the slurry! They took his Jack Russell with them when they eventually left.

At a recent Oxford meeting the ref wouldn't start the race because a photographer was too close to the track and he wasn't as close as that start marshall.

Oxford have stopped the coach this season - it's a 10 minute walk from Unipart and if you have mobility problems like me that's a no-go.

Best news from last night is that Luke is just battered and bruised with no serious injury after that horrific accident. One very lucky boy. I totally agree with the decision to give Connor rider of the night. He rode his socks off for us - well done to him.
