  1. Wow that Leszno track looks like Belle Vue did last Fri night!!
  2. Heat 7 was a beauty - though Hans Andersen was nailed on to be passed there!
  3. Enjoying this one.. http://cricfree.sc/euro-sports-2-live-stream
  4. With track grading, any crashes/restarts, potentially delayed start to get crowd in & additional track prep for match 2, reckon 3pm would be a squeeze.
  5. Unsure of availability of the Robins side at relatively short notice + how they'd charge fans who've already bought Poole tickets for the extra match. Could be an option though. Wondering why considering the rain stopped in Manchester around 5, that remedial work couldn't have started before 7,50pm? Feel for travelling Robins fans. Being a local I only lost 3 quid car park fee & 15 miles of diesel - suspect they're out of pocket slightly more.
  6. After around 8 hours of rain today, it's now dry with sun peeping through & blue sky appearing. Expecting similar conditions to the Leicester home match where Hougaard excelled for Leicester in a narrow home win. Expecting another close one tonight, a similar return from Paddy would be very handy.
  7. A hard fought win for the Colts against a battling, really good value IOW. Thought Nathan Stoneman was outstanding tonight, his pass of Matt Williamson clean as a whistle in heat 12 was terrific. Was well backed by fellow reserve Layne Cupitt, with Ben Hopwood & James Cockle giving the home side plenty to think about as well. Danny Phillips & Matt Williamson did a solid job up front for BV & a fine max for Lee Payne. Another win nearer the playoffs for the Colts....maybe??

  9. Thanks. I guess he can't have too many complaints about the decision in that case!
  10. Anyone got details on why Rob Shuttleworth thrown out of the meeting today?
  11. Heat 15 from Friday night, brilliant race.. http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.31080
  12. Enjoyable night's racing, some real precocious young racing talent on show. A home winner in Kyle Bickley in the 500's, just missing the NL track record in his first race with a time of 62.3. Tom Brennan & Jordan Jenkins really impressed too. Liked the look of Leon Flint in the 250's, exciting racing style, really distinctive. Will be fascinating to see how these kids progress.
  13. Hope Andy Mellish & Macauley Leek don't feel too second hand after their crash on the first bend of heat 8. It looked a shocker, very lucky that both walked away from that one.
  14. Hope video of heat 15 from tonight finds its way on to the Speedway GB site - brilliant race, huge credit all four riders!
  15. Would be helluva final between 2 teams who enjoy each other's tracks, & big away support from both clubs to generate an electric atmosphere. Fans of those underdogs (apparently) Poole might have something to say about that though!
  16. What a finish - take a bow Patryk Dudek! On the line there over Pedersen, brilliant defensive ride from Doyle there too.
  17. Hearty congratulations to Miss Startu 2016, never thought for a second she would come close to Daria in your estimations! Another dominant performance from Patryk Dudek to date. Interesting match this, without really catching fire as yet. Though after that recent SEC meeting in Daugavpils, any meeting has a lot to live up to. That was something else!! Has there been any news on when Jarek Hampel will next feature for Falubaz??
  18. Wolves get Woffy back somehow & that 7/1 looks worth a punt!
  19. Getting close to the stage where Matt Ford (legally) pulls a rabbit out of the hat as the playoffs get close, as he did with Hancock in recent times. Not having all this Poole spin that they are underdogs, Belle Vue not winning the league would be a choke etc. Absolute garbage! Ford will be weighing up his options in terms of strengthening up - & with 2 pre-playoff trips to the NSS pending, I expect him to act. Not to mention CVS & Pete Adams will be mulling over potential targets tonight too, that defeat will have stung after a really good season to date. Yes the Aces are on a good run, & have been great to watch home & away this season - but the trophy is presented at the end of Sept/early Oct. This Elite League title race is far from over.
  20. You're not wrong - & we weren't much better at home, got a collection of wooden spoons to show for it!
  21. Agree 100%, watched him at Brandon v Belle Vue a couple of weeks ago & I thought he was excellent. Can't be on that big an average & I'd expect him to improve. I'd be amazed if the Bees let him go come 2017.
  22. Have narrowed my "shortlist" down to 2 candidates - shall now retire to the pub to give my final choice very careful consideration. Expected better from Stal, congrats Torun on a fine win. Some good racing today, especially in the first match, hopefully same again next weekend.
