Well the no hopers put in a good performance last night and pushed Rye all the way. Lets not forget what this league is supposed to be about, for riders like Robert to find his form and hopefully progress, and for new riders to get track time. We all like to win but real supporters back there team in the good times and the bad, and it wasnt that long ago we had the good. Chopper

Lets not forget the level of opposition has improved. In the eight meetings Buxton have done so far he has come across Roynon three times and Burkes four times at no 1. He has also been in all heat 15s bar one and i think he has top scored in all bar 1 meet where he had a fall and a cpl of ef. So he needs to lift his game along with the level of the opposition. Sounds like from the updates heat 15 was a cracking race. Robert, Ash and Tom seem to put on a few good races a season, i remember watching a good one last year. Robert and Ash in particular are never far apart. Hopefully Robert might get an invite to the Golden Hammer this season. Chopper

See you out there BFD, should be a cracker as usual, over 40 cars nominated. The big thundering v8s will put on a good show, cant beat 20 sprintcars on a track together. The NT lads should be in amoungst it, but my moneys on Greeny. Chopper Chopper -
Does anyone know where i can find the final national league averages. Cheers Chopper

Well done to Milldenhall for there win. Pleased that Robert got to play a small part in it. Cheers Chopper

Yes mate, i really enjoy my trips to Wolves, some of the best racing in the country. Heat 9 sounded like another cracker, maybe sky need to get there for a match. Would love to see a clip if anyone has it. Any news on Armo, hopefully he is ok. Cheers Chopper

Thats good news , another lad that seems to get more than his fair share of injuries. Chopper

Cant really remember what the end result was but its happening in all leagues , including GPs. With the tacticals , what we will see happening is teams manipulating results as to use the black and white as aust did in the WC and also to stop teams from going 10 points behind, which in the end will turn it into a farce. Chopper

Not a big fan off the tactical but its in the rules and can be used by either team. What pees me more is the refs who constantly call back races even though the rider that was at fault has made a hash of the start and is last. Happened atleast once today when Buxton were on a 5 -1 and on a track like Buxton where the start is 90 percent of the race, why give them another cha Chopper

Enjoyed the trip to Lakeside, a nice little circuit, although a bit more grip for the riders would produce better racing , even an outside line would be better.I agree its dissapointing that more fans dont turn out Interesting that i dont remember one faller all night, although i didnt see every race i dont think there was any restarted races. Perhaps good the ref didnt need to make any decisions after his howler in heat 6 , awarding the win to the wrong rider, hopefully he just got the helmet colours wrong, is it time that speedway used transponders, certainly cant believe there not used in world class meetings. Whats happened to this fixture?. Chopper

Youve sussed me out Martin, i only mechaniced at Bellue Vue for the free biscuits. Whos going to be the first club to hand out the free pints, then maybe BFD will help out. Chopper

Quality first up effort from Cameron looked assured on the bike and attacked the track from the start. Obviously the track staff had started to water early and to have a mid afternnon meeting on a warm day and have very little dust and two good racing lines still in heat 15 was a credit to them. All finished off by a nice spread of food for the riders, mechs and staff, and a well needed cold pint of lager. I can see why people are turning up in good numbers. Darrell Branford

Upmost respect to Jason Garrity for his approach to taking Robert down on sunday. Respect for the lad. Chopper
-
Good luck to the lad, given time he should do well. The 'one' hasnt yet reached your shores, not permanently anyway, ha, ha. Chopper
-
How many names do you want, can think of ten off the top of my head. Chopper
-
Cant speak for all the aussies but Robert cost Buxton 10 pounds per point, and Jayne will verify that, any other costs were met by us. Chopper

Anyone come across a video clip of heat 11. Chopper
-
You b--------d but hey i wont argue with you, dont tell him though. Cheers Chopper
-
He was very aware what was going on, thats why he started looking behind after two laps when he had a big lead and slowing the race down. Thats how team riding is done, great ride even if i do say so myself. Chopper

Would love to see a video clip of the race , a few regular sheffield supporters were saying it was the best race there for many a year. Full credit to the riders who just got on with the job in what were trying conditions early on. No good up and coming British speedway riders, i dont think so. Chopper
