Irrelevant, Poole won't be meeting Wolves in the play-offs, Swindon will top the league choose Poole and eliminate them. Then Belle Vue v Wolves which the Aces will win leaving a Swindon v Belle Vue final which the Robins will win.
I have to say that I probably disagree with 90% of your posts, but I cannot fault your support for your team. From Poole every away match is a jaunt. We are really lucky in the Midlands, everywhere is accessible. Out curiousity what route do you take from Poole to Monmore ?
Kennett used to be good in his drill-bit days, but not now really. As our only home defeat so far is to Poole, it would be nice comfortably in this one. However, a defeat for Poole changes nothing, both teams will be in the playoffs, but in my opinion Swindon are now favourites with Belle Vue just behind them.
I see it like this at moment,1. Swindon 2. Belle Vue 3. Wolves 4. Poole. Swindon pick Poole leaving Belle Vue v Wolves. Then a Swindon v Belle Vue final.
I've followed the Wolves since Saturday 1967 and the doldrums is our default position! Didn't see a trophy till 1991.
Anyway just joshing with you, one of the acknowledged decent/sensible Poole fans.
Website says late decision will be made on Masters. Could be a banana skin match either way round. He rides but is not fit and we don't get many points from his rides. Alternatively we use r/r which means two rides have to be covered by our weak reserves.
There was a point I think when there were 9 teams in the league and Morten Risager had ridden for 7 of them ! (Or thereabouts)
Well let's face it, for non-Poole fans that would be comedy gold. 🤗
Not quite yet. Poole were +7 and kings Lynn +4. With this defeat you are level, but still in it. With the Stars not looking too good (Holder situation etc), it might just be a case of who loses the least at home for the rest on the season. Once in the play-offs, well anything can happen.
