  1. I think if the full facts were known people's opinion would be different

  3. I believe it's part of the lease agreement that that part of the old car park cannot be used.

  5. Jenkins is riding in all 3 leagues
  6. Anybody have any idea when the merchandise will actually become available for purchase? Thought before Xmas would have been ideal, is there a supply issue.
  7. That looks an outstanding team at this level
  8. Maybe, seen Kerr mentioned as a possible. Thomas showed glimpses of very good scores last season before getting injured. The more successful teams last year showed that 3 heat leaders are needed really, an area Oxford struggled with last year.
  9. Realistic four to begin with??? Nicholls - would seem sensible, held the team together away from home on occasions last season Harris - rumoured to have agreed a deal last season should Oxford have gone Premier, known to be leaving Berwick, less travelling, still capable of big returns as shown last season Jenkins - surely will either be at Redcar or Oxford, plenty of up side Atkins - now an Oxford asset, with a possible reduction in the points limit, a few teams will be looking at 2 pointers at 7, local lad Stoneman is at Berwick, Atkins showed enough for the Chargers to suggest he could make a go of it.
  10. Dilon Ruml has stated he won't be with the Cheetahs in 2023. Doesn't appear to have anything lined up at present.
  11. I did see the air fence needing to be deflated, which is why I assumed it stayed on the centre green, track grading take too long everywhere as it is. Hopefully an entrance can be created along the back straight, maybe where the pits end going towards the 3rd bend, before the air fence starts. The greyhound rails are only plastic so seems feasible.
  12. There is no exit on the 3rd bend, the tractor has come on via an entrance/exit on the 2nd bend so no reason why this cannot be used. It massively obscures the view of the start/finish when viewing from 3rd bend, a fairly important part of the track. it did use the pits exit before they installed the swivel gate. Are you saying the tractor was not on the centre green during some meetings towards the end of the season? I attended every home meeting and cannot recall this being the case. As I watch from the 3rd bend, the tractor is an issue. If it cannot be off track, so be it, but would definitely be better. I believe it's more to do with the time it takes and the, at present, limited space off track around the 2nd band area. Having said that, I've nothing but praise for the promotion and all they have done this season.
  13. Already using rr for Stoneman, Greg Blair takes his place I believe.
  14. Not normally although didn't look today, they go on the official finishing order.
  15. On course bookmaker will be in attendance for the pairs at Oxford tomorrow.
  16. Seats in the grandstand (inside) are first come first served, no separate booking, you would need to arrive virtually as the gates open I reckon to bag a decent seat. Terrace is much the same, chairs can be used virtually anywhere, probably be stand to watch the racing and sit between heats thou. Normally busier around the 3rd and 4th bends. Hope that helps.
  17. Nathan Stoneman seems to have suffered a broken shoulder blade riding for Berwick, best wishes for a full and speedy recovery, put in sterling effort all season for both Oxford teams.
