Wow - 9 in a row - who'd have thought? Hope Doyley is OK

This whole episode has been handled badly by everyone - riders and promoter - and I think it's very sad that neither Noddy or Batch can ride again this season. If a promoter chooses to sack a rider then so be it but to do so when they can't sign anywhere else is a very poor reflection on the promoter and British speedway. I do hope we see them both back next year - obviously not riding for KL. I also now do not want KL to get in to the playoffs - which is highly likely given the changes they have made. A sad day for British speedway!!

What a great run Swindon are on. Second in the table (ahead of current champions Wolves). Not bad for a team written off at the start of the year. I guess very few people saw the potential in this side and thought Rosco was mad - especially signing Bellego who has been a revelation. This run of form will end sometime but for now Swindon certainly are the team to beat. I still remember at the start of the season certain Poole fans bigging up their team and that Swindon had no chance against them and in the league. The pirate ship has hit a huge iceberg and is sinking faster than the Titanic - cue the violins

Best not to get too carried away. Poole will be like a wounded animal with their run of defeats (and a gifted 4 points from their KL away encounter) and riders who know their way around Blunsdon.

Can a suspended rider be signed by another club while suspended? If not that will be his season over if he is released before Friday's deadline. EDIT Neil Watson previously posted that Friday is the last date - not Monday

Only as a guest - in his last season, he was the same as now - not interested - little effort. When he's on it he is a good rider but as someone said earlier he is definitely a mood rider. I assume Palm Toft's time at Somerset is over since Houggard is back. He would be worth considering if you were looking to jettison anyone.

I take it you won't be sending him a Christmas card this year. Why do you want to drop Batchelor for good and why wait for August? No team is allowed to replace a rider from 1st August so what would dropping Batchelor achieve (apart from making you feel better)?

Batch has always been a marmite character. Given the current KL situation - get behind the team and deal with the issues after the season is over. It is still possible to make the playoffs.

Good win for BV - well done especially to Bewley and Tungate. Wolves were well beaten with the exception of Masters who did very well.

It doesn't really matter whether he is second string or heat leader. As he is in the top 5 and not the #1 rider, he can ride at any position from 2-5. Oops - just noticed that stevebrum said the same above.

The funny side to this is that some Poole fans were going on about waiting to see the great #1 rider that Poole were going to get to replace KK. Lots of big names banded about and then they go and sign EK. Of course EK should do better than KK on the from that he was in but he hardly looks like any major strengthening ahead of the playoffs. The risk is that Poole might not even make the playoffs and, if they do, they will be cannon fodder.
