  1. Good move for the future? It is if you are only planning for this season! His best years are behind him and the only reason he is in Poole's team this year is because he is on a "ringer" average from a (very) short stint in the second tier last year!
  2. Sad to see that Josh Auty has quit the sport. He's had a lot of injuries over the years and I hope his life after speedway is everything that he hopes for.
  3. I see it's another school holiday and the kids have decided to play on here
  4. I'd rather you didn't try and speak for others as if we are in agreement with you. KK has been poor this season so he does have a point and it's a bit of t!t-for-tat with regards KK and Tai (IMHO) with neither willing to back down. Now if Zengi can go through the card on Monday - that might quieten him down.
  5. I remember when Zengi and Magic signed for Swindon - both very talented and both made good progress in the sport - although I don't think Zengi will make the leap to the SGPs.
  6. No - 2 riders who have come through the NL.
  7. With Zengi on a lower average than KK, who would make way bearing in mind the need for 2 riders who have come through the NL?
  8. A good, solid rider. I have always liked him since he first rode for Swindon. Hope he does well - except against Swindon. Oh and I'm sure Swindon will enjoy receiving the loan fees.
  9. Poole do not have a bad side at all - definitely still top 4 but they don't currently stand out as winners as Wolves currently do though.
  10. Big mistake not having Freddie in heat 15 - unless he is unwell. Another away point for the Robins. Imagine what could happen if Ellis could score some points!! Well done Wolves and Doyle and Morris for the league point. Morris has really upped his game this year
  11. Number 1 at home and number 7 away - that averages about a third heat leader / second string The heat 14s I was referring to was his time with Swindon. We invariably needed him to go out in heat 14 (his easiest heat) and win it - but he choked most of the time.
  12. I think we've seen the last of Dakota North as he seems content to doss around Aussie (going by his Instagrams)
  13. That's what you get with Kennett. Has always been the same whoever he has ridden for. He is certainly not a number 1 (because you want consistency in your top rider) and is probably a third heat leader / second string. I always remember him choking in heat 14 when the team needed a win.
  14. Why did you say "Your welcome". It was Rohan that broke the news not you!
  15. Getting a bit cocky there! You haven't won it yet!
  16. Do you think he is the solution to our problems? He was dropped from Somerset for a reason although we all know from experience that when he is on it he can be nigh on unbeatable.
  17. The problem is who do we bring in? Adam would be a good first reserve when the averages change (replacing Dany) but who would you sign to replace him as our 3rd heat leader? I don't think Tungate is the answer though.
  18. Get well soon BWD! Given his average, it doesn't give us many options but looks like our guest will be busy!
  19. A shocking meeting from Swindon. The Stars looked the better team throughout and with the exception of Doyley (who was imperious) and Morra (who improved as the meeting went on and he sprung to life in heats 13 and 15). Of the others, BWD tried hard and should have got more points, Ellis was woeful (except in his last when he managed a second), Bellego was OK but no match for the Stars heat leaders), Dany will take a few meetings to improve and Zach looked OK. Oufside of the 3 HL who were good for their points, Huckenbeck starred for the Stars easily racking up the points. Felt sorry for Bailey who was out of his depth all night. That Swindon team will not get into the playoffs as there were very few heat advantages and the only one to win a heat was Doyley!! Woeful!
  20. Exactly - he doesn't do bugger all for British speedway. You said it! In case you haven't worked it out - it's a double negative!
