  1. That is correct, the PL will get Presedence. unless of course the Goalposts have been moved. But as Pirate Nick says...
  2. Must have been last year then, from £2.60 to £2.80.
  3. It had a re-vamp and went up in price.... I do hope, this year they push the boat out and give the British GP a good spread. This is supposed to be our flagship meeting. Good racecard, although we have to wait for the draw, maybe two three interviews with riders as to there expectations at Cardiff, statistics track size etc etc. Once a year we have this meeting, come on Mr Rising and co, lets make a big effort.. You might just sell a few more stars...
  4. Definately not. But i think its totally wrong, that Harris is given the Wildcard, and the runner up behind Tai at Wolves doesn't go to Cardiff, another balls up by the powers that be.. Becoming British Champion is one thing, but the biggest Carrot must be a place at Cardiff..
  5. Typical Tory, ignore him oldtimer, we all normally do....
  6. I nearly spilt my coffee laughing at this, take it you can't be, making your mind up... I know a song about that!!! Tell you what, i'll go for Doyley and Josh, who's open to a great deal of improvement.... Then again, it could be Doyley and Alex, or even Alex and Josh, or even Alex and Nick.. Nah, i'll stick with the first pairing..
  7. Its certainly not what you really want, that said, if you can get by reasonably well, that will be a bonus. Trophies are not given out in may or June... Hopefully Garry May will pull bunnies out of the hat, he usually does, problem is, you don't want to start pulling to many out . Its a sad fact of life that injuries do come in Speedway, its part and parcel of the sport. But, hopefully,,, you will get all your bad luck out the way now..
  8. Mate, ive only got updates tonight, can you confirm this and has that been nmade official?
  9. Good meeting and good start for the Rebels last night. once the early race gremlins were out of the way. Jason Doyle is obviously your benchmark, but you have riders in the side this year who are going to push Jason for that No 1 position, so he will need to stay on his toes. But its not about an individual, its a TEAM game, and all the Rebels riders are open to improvement, and when they all get dialled in and proper back into the swing of things not only will you be very hard to be beat at home, but will take a good side to be the Rebels away, but they must take nothing for granted and im sure that Garry will make sure no complacency creeps in. One Piece this season should be enough....... Amen..
  10. Jeez, just by looking there are more people there than there was at Coventry last night. And they've only showed half the stadium...
  11. Birmingham have a main road and a dual carridgeway next to there stadium, and Ambulance and police sirens blairing past every 5 minutes, no noise there then???
  12. Yeh, it rubbed off on him years ago when he rode for Poole. He was surrounded by them. I suppose its second nature....
  13. Don't get on Tom s back mate, give him time. He's plenty good enough. Like our reserves, he will have bad days and better days, he's still learning.
  14. Well lets face it, he is not going to get the Team GB post is he!!!
  15. Im sure Najjer could put his hand in his pocket and help you acheive that....
  16. But those kids don't earn very good money are professional sportsmen role models, and top of their profession. if you have abillity in your choosen sport you maximise it tow the line. Your profession comes first. Then when you have several days off, perhaps go out and enjoy yourself, in an adult and responsable manner. Thats what being a professional sports person in the public eye means to me. I don't know what went on with Darcy and Chris. But i would expect there clubs to ask a few questions. Chris and Darcy are in the public eye and limelight where ever they go, and they are at the point in their careers where they could do without any adverse publicity.
  17. Very True, unless you are a professional Footballer, then your priorities are slightly different.... I wouldn't say the League Cup was meaningless, but your No 1 priority this season surely is the League Title. Good to see JG scoring well, Kyle also. Kyle still wants rides in the EL, but to do that he has to convince EL promotions that he is capable of doing a job, and by keep scoring well in the PL he will eventually get a chance. Tom Perry is starting to show he's still open to improvement. I just hope for your sakes that Alex isn't to bad, because he will play a big part in your side this season..
