They only trundle round though George . At Glasgow they throw the bike into the bends and do practice starts . One time Andrew Tully's throttle jammed on a parade lap and he clattered into the fence at speed . Helmets defo necessary when it's like that

Workington as well

That was my thinking . The doubling up has spiralled out of control and the season is a mess . One league puts an end to that nonsense

Or one league of 16 or 18 teams

Strange . There was a big queue when i came out of the Ashfield Bar at 4-30 , but went up to the other gate which was open -
Is there a prize money structure for the Premier League ? Seems to be anybody winning it almost bankrupts itself in the process . Where does the money go that the BSPA draws in through big meetings like the ELRC and it's Premier equivalent ? We must be the only sport that penalises success .

Think both sides just wanted an extra bit of time after the meeting at Rye House the previous evening -

I think after yesterday we should bin those long , drawn out parades at the start of the meeting . Disrespectful or not , and i know Rye House received an official warning ( whatever that means ) , but the Rye House riders had obviously just about lost the will to live as the thing dragged on and on . We then had the farcical sight of Rye House riders doing their practice laps while the Glasgow team is being introduced to the crowd . We actually found that pretty amusing though . Do what they do at Edinburgh , riders come out on their bikes two at a time , get introduced and wave to the crowd and the whole thing is over in 5 minutes and then the racing commences . Standing about bored for 20 minutes while the riders get introduced to a load of pensioners in the main stand doesn't bring a lot to the afternoon's entertainment . -

It was dry and dusty the opening four heats , once the watering started it wasn't too bad -
Shame Mr and Mrs Rempala never had another 3 weans

Looked very good at Glasgow today . Gated well , won heat 2 comfortably against Jason Bunyan , definitely would do a job in the PL

Ipswich are racing Friday and Saturday too , but only need to come up from Workington . A 5 o clock start time next weekend would make sense too , if Ipswich agree , but you can understand if they don't . -

Quite an enjoyable afternoon . Wolbert at last looked like a proper number 1 today , unlucky when he shed a chain challenging Boxall during heat 10 , but was superb in his 4 race wins . Great back up from Rusty and Theo . Mediocre meeting from Anders , but he still produced a vital win in heat 12 when needed . Christian was steady and i was impressed by Tom Perry . Good gater and not off the pace in any of his races . Boxall was the best of the Rockets , Kennett and Bunyan worked hard for their points , Garrity was average and the other three were poor . Nice to win a cup tie for a change , gets much harder now though -
I'm missed the programme on logging techniques in the 1930's , originally on the Quest programme listings . Not happy , i was looking forward to that

That's the point . Yes we all know about the logistical difficulties tracks face and costs have to be taken into consideration . But it's supposed to be a professional sport and should be run professionally with the paying customer getting full value for money . These issues have to be addressed before we've chased everyone away from our tracks through continued abandonments and postponements . -

As Lioness has said , we went to the dump in the Scottish Cup one year ( on Halloween as well ) with only Lee Dicken as an actual Glasgow rider . But your example must have been a league meeting , which makes it an even more impressive attempt . For sure , the all-guest side is definitely achievable .
