  1. Track has been too slick the last two meetings . The Berwick match was terrific , but the last two have been not as good due to lack of grip. Maybe that is weather related , we did have heavy rain yesterday morning, I dont know
  2. Looks like another thumping home win for Exeter
  3. I thought he carried too much speed in passing Cook and his momentum was the reason he looked to take Starke's front wheel , though I was looking at it from the back straight and others I spoke to said there was no contact mind you they were Berwick fans so ....... Although there was only eight points between the sides at the end , there was never really any concern at any point that we were going to lose this meeting, next home meeting in a fortnight is the real biggee .
  4. Ignore him , he's always looking for a reason to have a pop at us
  5. No she is on the second bend and only films Connor's races . This was a man and he was filming from bend 1 where the filming took place from last season .
  6. There looked to be someone on a gantry filming from the first bend .. He was a bit obvious from up there to be someone doing it unofficially
  7. Think young Mr Thomson rode his way into an extra payday yesterday
  8. Don't get me wrong , they had us worried today . After Friday maybe a bit of complacency crept in , but when you get a trio of heat leaders scoring 37 points against you , you know you're in a battle . The unpredictably is what makes the Scottish derbies special
  9. Still a 7 point weekend , regardless the scores
  10. If Sarjeant had been there today you would have won cause that bike Lawson was riding sounded awful and didn't go very fast
  11. Drying up nicely now , let the pumping commence.
  12. In the light of this result , the 38 we got last week doesn't look so bad . Dont see anyone getting close to Leicester ar home
  13. Anyway back to last night's slaughter in the sunshine . It was as impressive performance as I've seen from the Tigers at Armadale , solid from 1 to 7 . The highlight being Danyon's win over Masters . Praise to the track too , it was as good and fair as I've seen it there 51-39 is normally quite a comprehensive away win , and it was , though it does actually flatter the Monarchs as they got the majority of their race wins once the meeting was over as a contest . None more so than Kye Thomsen's heat 14 win . He was well off the pace all night before popping out to win that race easily . Edinburgh's choice of waiting till heat 11 before putting a t/s in against Cook was quite baffling . But all in all it was a brilliant night for us on the third bend
  14. Wee trip east along the M8 tonight , c'mon Tigers let's do this
  15. Maybe so , but the reverse psychology thing is what you do .
  16. Been saying that for the past couple of years , but I hope he's not that entertaining this weekend
  17. Only takes a couple to struggle and you've no chance away from home . But to be honest , three away wins will get you in the play offs ( as long as you win your home matches )., so there will be easier tasks than Leicester
