There was obviously more going on that day , than it simply a case of James riding poorly . I think the hand of Denham had an influence on that performance . I'd take comfort in his performance in an Ashfield classic , which he would have won till he got Fishered in the final .

Forget Mills , guy tried his best for us , but he found the travelling horrible and 4.87 is about as good as he is . Schramm is one rider i would love to have in my team , and for him to start at reserve would be a bonus . Has Rajkowski recovered from his injuries ? Last year's brief comeback with Redcar would suggest not . Sedgmen hmmmm , dont know what the story is with him , looked to have plenty of potential a couple of years ago , but last season's form would be a worry for me . There is still the well thought of Max Fricke to be had , but do we want two untried Aussies at the same time again . And , of course , the other Wright brother .
-
Wasn't so long ago he was Premier League riders champion and holding down a second string EL role at Belle Vue and Swindon . Has he underachieved in the last couple of seasons ? Yes he has , but he is only 26 and more than capable of putting a point and a half onto his average . The predictable couple of pages of juvenile drivel that followed the announcement aside , i think most Tigers fans will be extremely happy with this signing , it gives us a pretty decent heat leader trio to go into battle with . With the work getting done to the track and the stadium , a competative looking side taking shape , i'm beginning to excited about March now and the countdown to the new season can start properly .

There was concern over his experience and ability on 500cc machines , concerns that proved to be correct
-
I think he would too , and i'm sure he's in the thinking . 12.03 left for two riders . Nedermark , or even Poty Sanchez, would only come into the reckoning if we landed Max Fricke on an assessed 5 . Then he could start at reserve , and with his reputation , he could be useful down there . If , however , Fricke goes elsewhere then it is more likely to be Charles Wright and either Lemon or Vissing , with Lemon being the more liklier .
-
Well aye , why not . James and Joe wont improve , but they are still capable of maintaining their average . Henning could easily improve his . Harley could be anything and we now have a young 3 point British rider willing to travel the length of the country to grab his chance in the Premier League . Still 12.03 to play with for our final two riders , so aye reasonably satisfied .
-
Is this " banter " or just complete drivel ? Don't think so . He was down to guest for us when Mason Campton went home before our last match against Berwick , but we were able to use r/r in the end up
-
Absolutely , when you compare Shielfield Park to both Ashfield and the dump , Berwick fans watch their speedway in the Nou Camp .

Cheapest Speedway Admission In Premier
Paulco replied to oldtimer's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Berwick have to be applauded , i just hope their gamble reaps dividends . Their season ticket is only £160 too , which is either suicidal or astonishing value . Worky too have took up the baton in giving the public value for money , they were tradionally one of the dearest tracks , but now have went in the opposite direction . Sadly both Scottish clubs are stubbornly refusing to join in this new and refreshing approach to attracting new fans , both still are around the £16 mark and you pay extra for the programme too . -
Worrying little story in this morning's Daily Record . Berwick Rangers are wanting to move from Shielfield Park into a 4 million pound new stadium , their reason is that the current ground is becoming too expensive to maintain . Obviously any such move , should it actually transpire , is a bit in the future . But could the Bandits take on the running of Shielfield Park exclusively ?

Replied too mate

The cash and the tactical awareness . We can never hope to match them in those departments
-
The young Australian , Max Fricke , seems popular among the Monarchs faithful . He comes in on a 5 , the remaining 3.3 will surely be used on Helfer .
-
Worryingly Mark Lemon is still available

Looks like we are the new Stoke
-
Vissing , absolutely . Would like Ricky Wells too , but he'll probably be back at Sheffield . But if we could get Vissing i'd be delighted . Would have Vissing , which would possibly leave Charles Wright and a three pointer . Would like Paul Starke as the three pointer , but it would probably be McBain
-
We were never going to get Barrett , not enough women go to Ashfield to attract Dyer and i never wanted Wethers anyway , so not too upset that those three have gone . I can see us hanging back and waiting to see what's on offer after the New Year and who's desperate enough to drop their demands for fear of getting left on the shelf .

You've got a good 'un there . Been a bit of a slow burner since coming over here to ride for us in 2008 . He has also doubled up with Belle Vue , though his progress would have been greater had it not been for injuries . Definitely a capable PL heat leader and he also goes well round the OTA . Great signing for the Rebels
-
Probably not
-
certainly up there with some of the worst
-
Brilliant signing for the Monarchs . The sort of exciting signing i was hoping my team would come up with , but hey hoh .
-
I think we can nip this in the bud before it kicks off another Tigers/Monarchs slanging match . Nobody knows who objected , lets face it Friday nights under floodlights was always going to be extremely unlikely next season in any case . We have to apply again at next winter's conference , we'll see what happens then .
-
Travis McGowan incredibly had visa problems last year , don't see how a year away from British speedway would see that situation changed .
-
I wouldn't disagree with that . We gave O'Malley weeks longer than he deserved last season and it was only when James came out and won heat 2 , while guesting for Rye House , that it became clear that the lad was worthy of a chance . With decent equipment underneath him i think the lad could cope with PL racing .
-
It is , i bet his away average is somewhere between 4 and 5 . But i must admit i'm a bit underwhelmed . Grieves yes , but Screen on his average i'm not so sure about . Some of his away showings last season weren't wonderful . I wanted Bager back , so i'm happy to have him sign . But i was hoping for a surprise signing to get us all excited , but sadly no .
