  1. Kings Lynn is a different kettle of fish altogether, much easier to keep that running. Peterborough obviously have problems at the Showground. He obviously knows (or thinks) there’s no chance of staying there.
  2. You don’t know that at all. I get you’re upset, but I’d be very careful saying this sort of stuff.
  3. Maybe he knows more than anyone and knows it’s futile? Just playing devils advocate, but Buster hasn’t changed his story from a statement he made in the summer saying this was the last season has he? He’s kept to that all along as much as people don’t want to hear it.
  4. Ipswich have ridden the entire season with a 6 man team and still made the play offs and a cup final!
  5. Well if you’re fully aware you wouldn’t have just made that post as it makes no sense and is pointless. People can scream “I’m innocent” all they like and take as many different tests as they like, it matters not! If the “B” sample comes back negative then he’ll have all the clearance and evidence he needs to clear his name and crack on racing. Let’s hope that’s the case.
  6. It makes Zero difference. Two tests taken days apart can have different results. The only test that matters is the one taken at Plymouth.
  7. That’s fine. The results will either clear him or convict him.
  8. It doesn’t matter a jot how many “private” tests he takes to try and clear his name. Some substances can stay in the system and be detected in a blood test for two to three days. It’s entirely possible the test taken at Plymouth was positive, but by the time he took his “private” test his system was clear and it came back negative. Now I’m not saying he’s guilty of anything here, I’m talking hypothetically. The results from the test taken at Plymouth will determine that. But the only test that matters is the one taken at Plymouth. You can try and discredit their testing system all you like, but that in itself puts you on dodgy ground if accusations are made about the legitimacy of tests taken at tracks.
  9. Rew is worth persevering with. He’s young and clearly has talent, it would be a bit silly to give him the year on a 5.00 average, and then let another club (Belle Vue) reap the benefits of that bedding in year now he’s on a 4.00. If you stick with the top two, and if it’s possible then you certainly do it, then Rew on a 4.00 in the main body with a 3 pointer at reserve will be the way to go. If the rising star scheme stays, recall Drew Kemp! Might be an idea to retain Dan Thompson also and go with the pair of them.
  10. No, what cost them was an unexpected debilitating illness to a very decent top flight rider in Erik Riss, and an unlucky pre-season crash for what would have been one of the better rising stars in the league in Jack Thomas. The issue certainly wasn’t going top heavy as you claim. You don’t build a side with two very high averaged riders and expect a potent bottom three as well that’s obvious, but the side Chris Louis put together would have sailed in to the play offs comfortably but for these issues.
  11. Has had 8 rides for Ipswich, and scored one gifted point. Now they were two tough meetings in the top tier so it’s not a criticism (although two or three points would have been nice) but having seen him at Lynn last night he currently looks miles off rising star standard in the Premiership. For perspective, Danny King was chucked straight in to a high quality Elite league by John Louis at 16 years old many years ago and instantly scored points. Every rider is different though, some show immediate talent and then never progress, others start very slowly and end up topping the world. I do find all these predictions a little premature and strange, been here a few years back with Drew Kemp who by now was tipped to be a GP Star! Let’s just wait and see how the lad develops.
  12. Refreshing to see someone not being a good boy and toeing the party line and calling out the bullish!t that goes on. No doubt he’ll be getting a phone call in due course!
  13. He was. Perhaps you were a little slow in posting on here, and if you were, he was still on paid 6 from three rides and doing well.
  14. “Also, the boys and our supporters have been messed around heavily with both of our league meetings at King’s Lynn being postponed at late notice for nonsense reasons outside of our control, so there is an added motivation that everyone who still takes their time to travel to King’s Lynn leaves happy.” Pulling no punches there! And fair enough as well. Ipswich should win this at a canter . As good as Lambert is, Emil is simply better. Doyle is better than Palm Toft at 5 and you’d expect the middle order of King and Riss to comfortably get the better of Breum and Mountain. The reserves are the only area you can see the Stars getting any joy although Rew dropping down there is capable of beating both Simon Lambert and Rowe. Witches by 10.
  15. Would you like to do this now Joe? Or wait until the season has officially ended?
  16. Bert and Ernie on radio Cambridgeshire last night were waxing lyrical about how “professional and pristine” Laguta’s equipment looked before the start..
  17. Well this has put a spoke in the pigeon! Leicester have 4 left to Ipswich’ 1. I can’t see Leicester winning any of the three away fixtures at Belle Vue, Wolves or Peterborough. Lynn at home you’d think they pick up the three points. Ipswich last meeting away to Lynn where they’ve already won comfortably recently. Ipswich now slight favourites?
  18. Clueless. Been three times to Ipswich this year and there was great racing in every meeting. Track wasn’t “slick” in any of them.
  19. Any need to be such a condescending prick? You come across as a right ar$ehole!
  20. What’s that got to do with him postponing this meeting because he’s missing a couple of riders? Totally irrelevant.
  21. Why must there be more to it and why is it always Lynn and Buster with the drama? Who else has postponed meetings for any reason other than the weather? The bloke lies about heart attacks, lies about broken pit gates because he’s missing a few Danish lads, and has form (as shown above) for postponing meetings in the past for not legitimate reasons for postponing meetings! The bloke is a pi$$ taker pure and simple. That’s Busters problem and down to him to reimburse those affected! You don’t run the meeting you forfeit the meeting simple as that.
  22. Interesting looking at the rider averages over all 2023 meetings. Home Doyle 11.00 GSA 10.50. Emil 10.53 GSA 9.80 Away Doyle 8.63 GSA 7.84. Emil 10.90 GSA 10.35 Just shows how dominant Doyle is around Foxhall whilst struggling a little by his standards away, whilst Emil has been slightly better away from Foxhall but dominant just about everywhere!
  23. Doyle may not have been at his best, but he produced the best moment of the meeting. His move from last to second going between Harris and Iversen in heat 13 was absolutely glorious.
  24. Eh? Why? Peterborough didn’t do enough to earn a draw so a draw wouldn’t have been a fair result in any way shape or form. Certainly not for Ipswich! Strange thing to say.
  25. Understandable from the new boy, but I’d be far more disappointed in Iversen for the same reason. A win and paid win in his first two, then only one more point from his last three rides.
