Ahh fair doos Hopefully he returns soon.

His accident was how many weeks ago? You may be right although a bit strange to tweet that now several weeks after it was cut off.
-
Taylor Poole has just tweeted "that suit is now history" and linked a photo of him riding in his Witches suit. Does that suggest Risager has got the nod?.....

Have to agree. I saw figures quoted a few posts back of 6 to 10k costs to bring the white line in at Leicester. Maybe there's less work involved there, but the figure quoted for the track work at Foxhall was around the 20k mark. The club raised 5k of that by doing a "buy a plot of shale" sponsorship scheme which was a great idea. I was one of many who donated and we've all been rewarded with a standard of racing on a consistent basis, far far better than we had to put up with for many years.

Tressarieu is obviously the rider in question. Far to early to get worried although he has started poorly by his standards.
-
I realise that Lovey, but if it is Lanham, Strange time to announce his capture with Leigh riding for Rye as a contracted rider the following night. Maybe someone else entirely we'll find out tomorrow i suppose.
-
Maybe not Lanham after all then? Isn't he still contracted to Rye and in their team for Friday?
-
Is it really worth it? Apparently they're not cheap. The press and photo shoots have been done and dusted now so not sure it's worth the expense and hassle of changing them. Will hardly notice the difference on track they all still have the blue and white colours. For what it's worth, I actually prefer the look of the "offending" Witches!

Well i haven't seen any Ipswich supporter predict the reserves to challenge for the number 1 spot or walk the league either. For what its worth, i think we have a chance of the title with this side but that will depend on certain things. Firstly, being lucky enough not to pick up injuries and that goes for every other club too. Injuries happen we know that, and i think the team that may come out on top will be the team that covers for injured riders best. Very rarely do you go through a campaign without any rider missing meetings through injury. We have potential no doubt, and if that potential is realised then we'll go very close. But we have a couple of riders who have yet to be tested at PL level so question marks are there. There's no doubt that Heeps and Tungate have potential to be very good, but its a wait and see with them. Somerset though, have less question marks. You pretty much know what you're going to get with their riders so they could possibly be seen as favourites. Having said that, they do need to keep Doyle fit which to be fair, seems a task in itself. Berwick and Redcar look very good too.

Disagree, i think you can. In his weekly column in the Ipswich Star, Doolan held his hands up and admitted he struggled with machinery and set ups, but had his own way of doing things and wouldn't listen to advice being offered. He finally had a heart to heart with Chris Louis and accepted Chris' help. This definitely made a difference to Doolan's performances and like i say, he finished the season very well indeed. It wouldn't be a great surprise to see Doolan averaging 8+ this season and putting a point back on his average.
-
I believe that too. He's apparently made a big investment machinery wise for the coming season so it'll be interesting to see if that makes a difference. I definitely think his average season last year was more machinery than man.
-
By his own admission Doolan had a poor year last year by his standards. He finished superbly though so hopefully he'll pick up where he left off.
-
Agreed, and also speaks volumes for those that have "liked" the post.
-
Whilst i don't think the rider in question would be overly impressed, i don't think it matters a great deal regarding his on track performances. As Jim Bowen used to say on Bullseye, its pounds for points.
-
Is that the current Australian U21 champion?
-
Evidence that the track widening was money well spent. I was hoping one of the clips was of Matt Tressarieu battling past the two visiting riders, stuffing up the next corner and letting them by again, before winding it on and re-passing them a second time
-
Thankfully we got their first to sign him up as a full Ipswich asset and i hope that he's part of our EL team in the not too distant future. But yes, in the short term i can certainly see a scramble of EL clubs to sign him up once he attains a PL average as he certainly looks a better bet than some of the ropey reserves already signed.
-
I can't see Leicester anywhere near the top 6. The side looks woeful to me with 4 reserves in it. If even one of the top 3 have an off night then you'll get some right royal hidings next season.
-
North was the best visiting rider all season he was incredible for Somerset. Hope it's him
-
I think you're probably right. Speaking of Tres, delighted if he's confirmed. Seemed to score better away than at home and was good for double figures at a lot of tracks. Always handy to have a good traveller in the team. And of course very entertaining with it.
-
6.94 I'd take North over Eklof. In fact i'd take North over all those you've mentioned except Morris under normal circumstances. Perhaps that stunning performance by Dakota North at Foxhall earlier in the season with that paid 21 point maximum is still fresh in my memory!
-
Josh Grajczonek would fit if Dakota North signed instead of Risager. I'll admit given the circumstances that it would be a big surprise if Risager didn't sign, but who knows maybe we're all wrong on that. Just seen on another thread that Dakota North's new club will be revealed on Tuesday, and our full line up is being revealed by middle of next week......
-
I hope they've assembled the best seven riders they possibly could, regardless of where they were born.

Correct Jules.
