  1. Especially not against the worst reserves in the league.
  2. I rather think it's the other way around. British riders abroad, without the aid of STA* aren't really competitive. The prospect of say Edward Kennett against the likes of Walasek or Nermark - outside britain - is a no contest for Polish or Swedish fans. *Strange Track Advantage
  3. But don't they follow the results from Poland and Sweden and realise it's no coincidence the likes of Jagus and Ljung do well? And that in a much tougher environment than in the BEL?
  4. Yes, Daniel Nermark is a PL rider. He is also a much better rider than 2/3 of all the riders in the EL. EDIT: Hmm... I meant to quote Down in the parks post, not yours Anders. I somehow cocked it up
  5. Alternatively, if he had done anything to match what Emil's done so far. And that's not taking anything away from Tai, it's just that Sajfutdinov is unbelievable.
  6. Your grasp of a reality outside british tracks is rather hilarious
  7. And the rotten luck just won't go away. I guess it goes hand in hand with being weakened. After losing Smolinski in the first heat Kim Nilsson and Denis Gizatulin really did a commendable job to cover for him. We were ofcourse lucky that Piraternas reserve was the hapless Mikael Max, or it would have been a different story. Anyway, ht 12 in particular decided the match. It was re-started twice. And twice Hammarby had a 5-1 through Dobrucki and Nicholls. But it ended 3-3 on the third attempt after Nicholls was excluded, wrongfully in my opionion, after a violent crash with Nermark. That also meant Nicholls couldn't ride in ht 15 which was a blow. All in all, it was a much better performance from Hammarby than last week, but against a much better side. We have to look at the bonus point, Kim's brilliant return to form and Dobrucki's awesome command of the meeting as highlights.
  8. Well, Hans Andersen is an exception because he virtually speaks swedish. The other danes cut back on their danish a little and speak some kind of "scandinavian". Generally, swedes and danes don't have that much difficulty to understand each other. Ofcourse, there are regional dialects of both languages that make it almost impossible but generally speaking it's not a big problem.
  9. Don't worry Mikael. When you're in jail for this I will rally the whole of BSF to come break you out
  10. Just walk across the field Sorry about not being serious, the airport and the track is rather close. But I imagine getting to the track will require a taxi, I have never seen any bus stops or such in the vicinity. I believe the entrance fee in Nyköping is 100:-
  11. What a silly post. They all take a dive sometimes, even Chris Harris. And they all take a big smash and walk away and come back. I have seen both Nicki P and Chris Harris do both things. And probably every other rider aswell. It all depends on what they stand to win from behaving in a certain way.
  12. Quite right Anders. It's about 20 mins on the subway from Stockholm Central to Gubbängen and then a 5 minute walk to the track from there.
  13. The speedway bus departs Uppsala bus station 17:30 on match day. It costs 190 SEK, and that price includes the ticket to the actual meeting and the bus ride back. It does not say anything about booking in advance on Rospiggarnas website. I guess you just show up at Uppsala bus station at the correct time.
  14. It's a pretty long way away before that decision has to be made and alot can happen. But I agree it looks good for Sweden.
  15. You have it all here; http://www.speedway.org/junioren-wm/2008/index.html#norden
  16. I'm not sure a rider who's not good enough to ride at reserve is deserving of a wild card spot at a GP. At least Bjerre has been a good and proven rider for a few years, even though he's struggled this season.
  17. Does anyone know if there'll be live updates from Pori, Finland on Saturday, please?
  18. Good one F-S-P, but I don't think they can get it in England or Poland
  19. You are all useless! 1. Get a torrent client, like Azureus, Bitcomet or uTorrent for instance. 2. Get a packing/un-packing program, like WinRar for instance. 3. Get a decent mediaplayer, like VLC for instance. These uploads by Mikael are brilliant and work perfectly every time. Hope you get to enjoy them!
  20. You do realise this one was packed and divided into 100 or so small files, which you need to unpack and turn into one big file before you can watch it?
