Swedish Elitserien Round 4
Liverstam replied to Ghostwalker's topic in International World of Speedway
That incident has led to huge debate in Sweden aswell and most people would agree that's über-harsh by the ref. Sorry if it marred your impression of Swedish speedway, how was the meeting otherwise? -
Swedish Elitserien Round 4
Liverstam replied to Ghostwalker's topic in International World of Speedway
That's a culture clash Sub, in Sweden, for only one point, we just put the riders name. Had he scored 0 his name would not even be there. EDIT: Btw, who's Mrs Miggins? -

U can't play a torrent unless it's 100% done. -
Crikey, I thought he had some minor wrist injury. What's his condition?

Interesting, I didn't realise bringing Crump in rules Jonasson out - but I'll definitely take your word for it. I would go for the second option aswell. Is Richardson ruled out for sure?

The only view on that Bjerre/Sajfutdinov incident I've heard is the Hammarby contingents view that we were unlucky in two ways. Firstly, Smolinski was in a clear lead with Nicholls likely to claim at least a point when the race was stopped. Secondly, it was Sajfutdinov who took Bjerre off but strangely enough Bjerre was excluded. We would have much preferred a re-run with only Bjerre in for Masarna. In the re-run Sajfutdinov gated and was gone. So a possible 4-2 or 5-1 in or favour became a 3-3.

Dackarna won't win many tough away meetings with a reserve pairing that can barely manage a point between them. It requires the heavy top-four to ride almost perfect and they won't always do that. Like today for instance when the likes of Hans and AJ can only manage 10-11 points from six rides, which is poor for riders of their standard. Lejonen on the other hand won't lose many at home. I reckon Vetlanda have a better chance than Dackarna had when they go there next week, since they have a more balanced team and a reserve in THJ who has had Gislaved as his home track. Do you think you will bring Crump, Anders? I would.

Much appreciated, thanks!

Many thanks to Tomaz for the results! Brilliant work mate. Is there a full score card available anywhere I wonder..?

Any updates from this one anywhere?

Pawel Hlib is ill and will be replaced by Smolinski. Smolinski is, like Dobrucki, at Abensberg today. But the difference is he's flying to Sweden whereas Dobrucki had to go by road. This gets better and better, with Dobrucki missing, and then Hlib and the dodgy form of Monberg and Nicholls.

Swc Round 2 Coventry 14th July
Liverstam replied to skid row's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Right now Mikael Max must be the least probable of all swedes to get picked for the SWC, and I'm not even talking swedish speedway riders but all swedes. Also I'm far from certain the Czech will qualify, I think both Finland and Slovenia are in with a fair chance. -
Right, then it makes sense. Thanks Doug.

Where's Laguta? Surely Grigorijs should make the Latvian team -
Are you sure they start at 14.00? Strange time on a week day..

I met the team manager of Solkatterna, and another guy from Solkatterna in Motala the other week when Hammarby were away to Piraterna. They were there to check on Daniel Nermark. The subject of them facing Valsarna six times this season was brought up, and no Anders, they certainly didn't find it funny at all... But what to do?
-
Not sure exactly what you mean. Vargarna didn't ride in the last round, so natually no Antonio. And in the first round he had to sit out the meeting after his crash in the danish league where he broke his nose - could not get the helmet on due to the swelling!

Proper track lenghts, those. Stockholm is 372, used to be 387 and had been for ages, until someone decided to measure it another time last season. Wonder where those 15 metres went? Any track under 300m should be banned! -
Going on recent results where Kim easily beat Sundström twice in Motala, and with the same ease today in Nyköping it really shouldn't be that hard a decision. I would think that on current form only Simon Gustafsson out of the forementioned is the equal of Kim. Eklöf or Lindgren was no match for him today. I hope the national team coach is watching..

Robban is really struggling so far this season, while Kim is flying. I've been to Motala, Norrköping and Nyköping this week and Kim's looked brilliant in all three meetings.
