  1. Yep. Sadly the Headline would be "Engine tuner takes the World Title and a bloke whose country can't be named held onto the handlebars !"
  2. Get there early and park at the stadium. Watch your time if parked on Tesco complex. Good luck with M6 on the way back!
  3. Well we wouldn't want the integrity of the sport compromised. .. would we???
  4. Nice spoof. Could have added six of the seven rounds will be at Scunthorpe!
  5. I do like forum logic . Hope your instincts prove to be correct.
  6. And you will need a full tank if M6 J10 is performing to its usual low standards!
  7. Depends if you want your car there at the end of the meeting.
  8. Can the Wolves drop down as well. A six team league is pants!
  9. Is it the unsocial people that move into social housing?
  10. I would have thought that "Batchelor makes Belle Vue play off favourites" would have been a more appropriate quote!
  11. Does the time limit still apply on the Tesco car park? It could make double headers very expensive.
  12. 250 car parking slots looks a toughie to cope with?
  13. Will the existing back straight toilets be safe from demolition?
  14. I presume it's a big thank you to Eurosport for ensuring the fans know 48 hours earlier than expected as to when the meetings will actually take place ? As a Wolves fan I'm off to arrange a further delivery of clay to Alwalton!
  15. Fair call. I've never been a lover of Pedigree either. I'm amazed I can tolerate Wainwrights beer!
  16. I'm trying to recall the last time I had a Bank's Mild??? Probably in the Pyle Cock, Wednesfield and I hate to think how many years ago it shut?
  17. When the Wolves won at Cradley then a visit to the Lomp' Tavern was mandatory to catch up with Tom Johnson the sports reporter for the local Express & Star to have a go at his green and white bias!
  18. Too true. Loved it when Wolves ran on Friday night. Meet up in the New Inns Pub, onto the Speedway, back to the Pub and then off to the Bowling Alley, followed by chips at Snellings on Snow Hill and then back home..... and all being well on the Saturday a trip to Spoon's / Cov / KL / Swindon / B Vue / Halifax. And all this following a team with no double ups, or A / B fixtures!
  19. In return Ole could team ride Bill Powell for a 5-1 for Wolves in the 70''s. A great crowd reaction was guaranteed. Promoting was 's lot easier then!
  20. Looks like Newcastle and Birmingham could stage the next SON semi''s with crowds at this level.
