  1. And you don't think that we might all be equally fed up with your literally non-stop attacks on everything to do with the Kent Kings?
  2. This is destroying the race for the play offs now... Stoke needed this fixture and KL aren't due there 'til October past the deadline.. I reckon this has given a passport into the P/Os to Kent who've funny enuff been to Plymouth TWICE (the cup as well as the league) already,,
  3. And you come to this 'conclusion' based on what? On being in a crowd entertained by some brilliant speedway racing (Benji & Marc tonight in particular)? Or by sitting at your PC on your own sneering at the world? Fortunately those who go to the Speedway know how enjoyable the experience is. I somehow think their opinion might just be worth a tad more than yours...
  4. Well that's a concept massively flawed and NOT actually any sort of rule or even guideline. after all it would depend on how much people paid to get in surely? At Kent it's £12 so a £1 'refund' per heat not run would be worth more than the same £1 for a meeting at, say, Rye House where admission's £16.. Clearly a percentage rather than a £1 per race makes more sense. Oh and it's heat 10 where results are declared now not 12.
  5. Which i agree is a disgrace - is as poor a rider as ive ever seen at this level
  6. Indeed but totally normal on the BSF - sadly
  7. Any news on a rearranged date for this one yet?
  8. I see that there's been a 0-0 at the Kent vs Cradley match to night! Has this ever happened before in Speedway league history i wonder?
  9. nikko tells us he walked away from the club because he didnt like the links with rye house. Fair enough but considering that for example we have the club I follow Mildenhall with there close links to Ispwich and noones unhappy about that what exactly is the actual reason he and others walked out of Kent?
  10. I was referring to your nasty sniping dig at norbold - have you forgorten you made that comment
  11. Where as you on the other hand can sit there in Germany just sniping at everyone and every thing
  12. Anybody know? Young rider doing after meeting laps at Somerset not Henry..?
  13. Sorry to quote from Updates as I know they dont like that being done which i can understand but surely Grand Centrals comments are completely at odds with an account from the updater that in fact there was passiung in something like six heats and very close finishs in several others? I know you said you didnt see many races as thast would seem to be the case as you missed all of this action but in that case why make such comments about their being no passing which is wrong Heat 03: Widman, Mason, Owen, Chessell - Fell 2-4 9-9 Time: 60.70 Comments: Re-Run: Widman gated first. Owen last. Owen made an excellent pass round outside of Chessell on lap 2 turn 4. Owen nearly doing the same to Mason on lap 4 but the magic boy hold him off. Chessell slid off last bend and failed to finish. Heat 04: Cockle, Baseby, Campos, Garrad 2-4 11-13 Time: 61.20 (Ayres - 2 Minutes) Line Up: R/R - Baseby, Garrad Ayres - 2 Minutes, Cockle, Campos Comments: Campos moved Garrad over lap 2 which also allowed Baseby through. Baseby passed Campos during lap 3. Heat 05: Mason, Owen, Chessell, Bailey 4-2 15-15 Time: 60.40 (Rose - 2 Minutes) Line Up: Mason, Chessell, Bailey Rose - 2 Minutes, R/R - Owen Comments: Owen passed Chessell outside during lap 1 turn 4 then was all over Mason for the rest of the race. Closest finish to best race in the tracks of the history. Both Mason and Owen getting a standing ovation. Heat 10: Owen, Baseby, Morley, Widman 3-3 31-29 Time: 61.80 Line Up: Morley, Baseby, Widman, Owen Comments: Morley supposedly touched the tapes and is going off 15 metres in the re-run. Re-Run: Morley had caught Widman by turn 2 lap 1 finally passing him on turn 1 lap 2. Heat 12: Mason, Widman, Ayres, Campos 4-2 37-35 Time: 62.90 Line Up: Mason, Ayres, Widman, Campos Bailey Comments: Campos replaces Bailey. Ayres passed Campos backstraight lap 3 another good close race. Heat 14: Chessell, Owen, Campos, Ayres 3-3 43-41 Time: 62.10 Line Up: Chessell, Ayres Garrad, Owen, Campos Comments: Ayres replace Garrad. Campos passed Ayres on the backstraight of lap 2. Owen passed Ayres on turn 1 of lap 3 and then passed Campos on the backstraight of lap 3. Chessell just holding off Owen at the finish line.Best meeting in the Central Park history! 14. What the updates says is: 'Crowd pretty poor currently, maybe 500 there' Is 500 a 'poor' crowd? Higher than the huge majority of NL tracks I'd imagine?
  15. Great meeting on Friday! Best racing I've seen for a long time! Top marks to both sides. Can someone do me a favour? The youngster who came out at the end to do a few practice laps along with Henry Atkins..? What was his name - couldn't catch what the announcer said.
  16. This weekend it's the Lion Cubs' second home match vs. in-form Stoke. Any team news?
  17. What's the latest on Lee Smart? Is he still going to ride this year for the plymouth nl side
  18. They're NOT guests! Guests have to ride for someone else. Dwyer, Kirkby & Woods don't..
  19. Surprised no-ones mentioned today's news that the experienced Lee Dicken has signed up the Stags - good move
