  1. Well, there's hardly a wealth of Heat Leaders out there and beggars can't be choosers. Kyle Hughes would hardly have been better.
  2. I've blocked his posts for quite some time now and my level of enjoyment of the forum has been considerably enhanced. If only I could block his posts when quoted by other contributors, my enjoyment would be complete ..........
  3. Then I give it until the middle of May before he gives up riding for the Devils
  4. Lee Smart has never been the same since his appalling crash at Berwick. Very surprised to see him on a bike again.
  5. And if I jump out my 32nd floor window I don't travel as far as I would if it had been the 35th floor I recall that Plymouths first ever PL meetings (in 2011) were at Berwick on the Saturday and Glargow on the Sunday. Yours truly did the small matter of approx 1100 miles in 48 hours. Mental. But fun, even it did result in 2 proper shellacings.
  6. Leopards and spots spring to mind. I agree with an earlier poster - you have all the marks of someone associated with the subject under discussion.
  7. The biggest win for the Devils is that they intend to run next season
  8. Crikey, they must have been knocking on a bit! Didn't Banister Court close in the 60's?
  9. You'll have to speak to the Poole promotion about that
  10. Two 'definites' for the play offs in my book. That leaves everyone else to fight over the 4 remaining places
  11. Can you remind us exactly where in Somerset Edinburgh is located, please?
  12. With thanks to Gr8scot: My money's on the rain. Just hope for a point if it goes ahead
  13. By my reckoning, between Heats 2, 6 & 8 the Devils gifted the Comets 5 of the points that they did score - so it could have been even better, unless you're a Comets supporter in which case 'worse'.
  14. Charlie left of his own accord with little if any notice, leaving the Devils in the lurch
  15. No less than he deserved - he could hardly have been a better guest. Let's face it (ignoring the fact that he got a full max), how many would drive from Berwick to Plymouth and back, just to ride for another team? I just hope we have returned him to you in one piece, as he was limping quite badly after his crash.
  16. Agree with the above. It certainly wouldn't weaken the Devils and probably strengthen them, in fact. On a completely different note, I trust that married life is treating you well ...
  17. Compared to closing and then having to find a lot of cash to enable the Devils to run this season, this is small beer. But just the same it's hard to take
  18. Would it be possible for the thread title to be amended to read 'Plymouth Close Open'? Could a Moderator help?
  19. I'll bet you go round the lawn 4 times anticlockwise too
  20. .... you'll be watching it in black and white
  21. And in what way is any of this to do with the Devils?
  22. He can be sure of a good reception at Plymouth
