If it’s a 40 point limit and taking into account some of the more plausible rumours that are being banded about, I’m going to have a stab at the team being…..Harris, Boughen, Flint, D.Thompson, Howarth, Hodder and Perry (39.41) ……….or……..Replacing Boughen with Pearson (39.89)

Totally agree with this point. I hate to see winners just return to the pits. I can understand it if they’ve got a quick turnaround to their next outing or if there’s a mechanical issue but otherwise they should accept the appreciation of the crowd. Sensible statement from Danny Ford.

So far…..but not for long……🤣

SGB Championship 2025 - Confirmed Signings

Yes I know…but in my opinion Ashton tends to streak ahead more than most when he gates….or has done when I’ve seen him. -
SGB Championship 2025 - Confirmed Signings

If this had been mooted earlier in the season, I would have been over the moon about the prospect of him signing for Glasgow but having seen some of his performances at the end of the season and the discussions about him “shutting off” in tight situations, I’m not so sure. Can be untouchable when he gates though. -
Good prize…….not to be sniffed at………lol

I’m sure I heard his name being mentioned as part of Glasgow’s 17 man squad……..lol

Let’s face it, the biggest problem all round these days is caused by riders riding for more than one team. -
Championship Pairs Oxford 16th August 2024

For me, that was the deciding factor. Nicholls made a clean pass but because of his steering angle he was scrubbing off speed and therefore suddenly travelling slower than Wright, leaving him nowhere to go. -

I watched on BSN with all the replays. Was a massively tough decision for the ref but the rules say someone has to go and as far as I’m concerned the correct call was made under the circumstances. Wright was committed on the outside and had nowhere to go. And if anyone says the throttle works both ways….they don’t understand speedway. -

The way things are going we might soon see riders riding for different teams in the same meeting…….lol -

Glasgow Tigers vs Poole Pirates 26th July

We’re we not told that he would probably have been back at Glasgow this year if he hadn’t intimated that he might not do Championship level?…….then it was too late when he made up his mind as the team build was already started. I, personally was/am disappointed that he never returned. Yes, he went off the boil a little at home but it was plain to see he was one who was going to progress massively. -

No, you’re quite correct, it IS Glasgow we’re talking about…….no apparently about it. -
In my opinion we’re witnessing the best speedway ever seen on a Glasgow track…… but what could be regular fantastic enjoyment is being totally spoiled by these outrageous sporadic fixtures. It really must be having an effect on attendances and needs to be addressed for next year.

WOW!!!……Yes, there’s always been booing and pantomime villains and I’ve been happy to be part of it…….but it was the unwarranted blinkered and aggressive reactions from some newbies I was alluding to. Didn’t mean to upset you……lol
